Gail posted on a recent GZ says that select titles will be released on vinyl. Here's what I'm hoping to see:

Broadway the Hard Way (original tracklist)
The Man From Utopia (original tracklist / mix)
Ruben and the Jets (original mix)
Baby Snakes (picture disc)
Both LSO LPs separate original mixes
Guitar (original tracklist / mix)
SUNPYG (speed corrected)
YCDTOSA 2 box set
Thing Fish original mix box set

What, you don't want to buy Broadway from ZFT right now for $150?

guitar would be great with the dozen extra cd tracks remixed for vinyl as a 3-lp set, maybe even 4-lp box ... vg+ copies of some of those on the list can be found without much difficulty these days

like falsedichotomy's says, they won't re-press lp's until their old stock has been fully exploited

I'm almost cured from my fetishist Zappa vinyl collecting frenzy, which was pretty wild about 2007-2011, after a long latency before earning enough money to really cater for it... Now I'm trying to get into another 'only in it for the music' phase and exorcize the fetishist monkey demon. Seek the path of now, not the past. Listen to the music.

But it's still possible that I will buy a beautiful new edition of Joe's Garage 8)

If money was no object, then yes, I would. Otherwise...fuck that!

Exactly, because you are a rational fan who recognizes irrational pricing when he sees it.

Don't know that the Baby Snakes picture disc is really a desired item. For better sound quality, a picture sleeve with 180-gram red vinyl would be preferable, IMO.

Torn on the LSO LPs. Bought the LSO II cassette from Barfko last year. Dubbed it into my computer before the pressure pad became unglued. The only significant difference in mix is on "Strictly Genteel". Still prefer the CD remix on that one. Never heard the original mix of LSO I.

SUNPYG is iffy, too. It would depend on the price. If the three LPs are released separately, I may just get Return only.

Have no desire for Guitar or YCDTOSA 2 on vinyl.

I've got everything else.

I'm surprised The Perfect Stranger hasn't been included. That's what I really want.

It kind of looks like the re-release project has stalled.
Does anyone know if it will get going again?
