Yes my general health is good just worn down, I will regroup as always and make it to the end, that's the way I role...never been acussed of being a quiter, but I have been called a real trooper and sometimes described as relentless...

Then put out that smoke and stay with us awhile, he'll boy we gotta 'nother 40 yrs. or so to go! I'm a rollin' player and you have a role to play too! We all make it to the end. D'oh! It's how far and the quality that's the problem.

I have cut back a lot and 60% to 70% of my smokes I roll myself with pure tabacoo to additives, baby steps... :smoke:

I know when you make up your mind to stop you will. Just don't fool yourself that cutting down is quitting. Most of the smokers doing it your way end up making excuses to smoke more, not less. Don't fall into that trap bro'. I do applaud you for trying and hope you continue to get your mind right about stopping that addiction.
Tobacco, the real evil weed.

How's MRS. PLOOK doing today? Give her and the kids my best.
Has Plook the younger or older daughter's ever seen or heard a Zappa concert live? How about Mrs. Plook? :?: This would be the show for a newbie to see if you can't see DZpZ. I think it will be more of the hits that us ZappaFreaks like, than play a whole record through like Apostrophe (') or Roxy. The article KU posted sez : " We'll play a selection or two from the 60's but will concentrate on the '70'-'80's period in FZ's career." Make sense that they would play what they played together with Frank. :D 8)

Mrs.Plook…Ya can't keep her down, she is a trooper, she went shopping and supervised me this weekend bringing our wonderful back yard to life, woke up my pool, and general honey do’s...I also helped the guy finish my fence, its a tricky bastard and I did construction for nearly 20 years, so I have forgotten more about building stuff than most know...lol..

I did go golfing yesterday at the butt crack of dawn and was home by 10:00am, it was awesome on the course, it is pretty much like a game preserve out there, just beautiful…then another 6 hours or so working out side… 8)

As to the family and FZ my wife went to the 1980 concert with me, we saw him coming out of his cowboy bus when we were walking into the LA Arena…. :o

The Daughters Plook both went to the 1st ZPZ concert in San Francisco at the Warfield, when they saw NMB dancing they said they always thought I invented that dance, but now they new where I got it…

Amusing choice of words. I have an album that I never released (my "Lumpy Gravy" if you will) called The Trials & Tribulations of the Plastic People
Anyhow, under the circumstances, I'm doing quite well! Still waiting for the signed divorce papers but my understanding is "they are in the mail". Almost in the clear! In the meantime, a friend of mine all but beat me over the head to go try yoga. She was sick of hearing me still hold on to so much anger, etc. The yoga was the connected dots that were missing in my life it seems! It's done wonders! I'll have to tell you more in detail some time but it's really changed my outlook/attitude/approach on this (and my prior) situation! Yay....

Good for you bro, I did Yoga for 20 years and taught informal classis, I also became certified to Teach Kundalini Yoga at the Sikh Ashram in Long beach. it is the Aerobics of Yoga and extremely difficult, it requires top physical conditioning, something you may want to try once you get some experiance under your belt.

Good job, I am sure this will only help... :)

Interesting - I didn't know that about you!
I'm currently practicing Dahn Yoga - a Korean form. I love the philosophy of tying the mind to the body. I've taken care of my body and meditated often but never fused the two together! Look out world!

We only have one more to go, but it feels like we are loosing the war of attrition... :(

I want no sympathy for me, but this is the most difficult, thankless, nightmarish thing I have ever experienced and I am there for my wife... :!:

Sometimes I don't know if I can hang, but I do...and can not even conceive of how my wife maintains…
