I have a first edition 'Shut Up...' book, those Vai transcribed solo's.
Must be worth a fortune!

I have a Discreet 'Roxy 'n Elsewhere' album on vinyl which is
mis-labelled. Side 4 is mis-labelled and has the Side 3 label.
Must be worth a fortune!

I have 'Transparency', a 'best of...'....a vinyl compilation album
drawn from the first three Mothers of Invention albums, with
unique and unofficial edits.

Record Company Exec's edited out some of the lyrics,
lines of verse they deemed offensive....and released the
compilation without FZ's approval.
Must be worth a Fortune!

ha haaaaa

I've got a book of solos called the 'The Frank Zappa Guitar Book' signed on the front by Vai
It's probably not worth much 'cos Vai signs heaps of guitars & stuff

That 'Shut Up..' book must be rare though...I've never seen one

The only slightly rare stuff I've got is the two CD-4 Quad albums 'Overnite Sensation'& 'Apostrophe'
I did plan on having a quad party sometime, but I think I'll wait for the DVD-A 5 channel mixes

I did have the Australian 'Zoot Allures' cassette with 'Filthy Habits', but somebody stole it. Bummer

My US RSLP Weasels has the side A details printed on both labels, my UK Discreet ZLINY has a red tint when you hold it up to the light.
I must be a million-freaking-aire! 8)

I have a Japanese import of Lumpy Gravy. Probably not worth shit but I love the design. Still folds out like a mini vinyl and the disk is designed to look like an LP.

I have a used condom (tied off) full of Howard Kaylan's "baby batter" from the 1971 tour .......signed and smudged with dried excrement
from some sweet young thing that Ansley had just finished plooking BEFOREHAND!
Apparently Frank laughed when he was shown it and then wrote a song about it!
That was UNREALEASED! Left of the "live at the Filmore" album!!
It must be worth a FORTUNE!!!!

I've got this tasty little sucker and it's in just about as good condition as it could be in, considering it's age.

Transparency doesn't have unique and unofficial edits. Everybody who owns a UK (mono VLP 9199 and probably the Stereo SVLP 9199), U.S. (US V6 5045X (MGS 1250) REV with the Mothers sticker) or German (Verve 710012) has the same edits.

The "unique edits" story was publiced on the Zappa Patio and was never corrected.

Oh hell yeah. It's as good as my deed to that asteroid named Zappafrank.
