Very good, Thin - I think I know why you do it. Thanks for your creative "nonthusiasm", and especially thanks for guiding me to the Plastic People songbook and ZONX when I was still operating as Dark Clothes (also retired).

Cheers!

Thinman

I've retired from this forum several times over the years only to come back. I suspect I'll do it again some day. I've enjoyed the Zappa analysis I participated in in the earlier years but I feel it pretty much has all been said. Now I'm kind of reduced to the secret word thread and Trendmonger bashing. I've got to find a more productive hobby.

Thindude, El Bummo man. You will be missed. I wish you well and hope you find whatever it is your looking for. Like Unica did for instance. You'll always be a ZappaFreak to me! {-

Why make an announcement like this? Why paint yourself into a corner?

1 - Because it helps leaving
2 - Because he wants to stir up some discussion about why he left and what we all did wrong

I'm with Polydigm. Its a drama move. I have no problem with Thinman. Leave, don't leave, whatever. He knows he's welcome back any time.

Okay, I'll play along. Clearly at 57 years of age I'm still quite naive, but, of what is there to be jealous? That's out of left field.

And yes, Arkay gets my point. Thinman is not one of the posters here that I might wish would piss off, but why not just have a break without saying anything? I have no issue with Thinman, but this I would have hoped was beneath him, unlike the Rope Leash for instance.

OK, along those lines, a true zen saying, it could have served for you guys as well, instead of granting the attention the chump craves for, just ignore it. I guess it could be valid for myself also, and I could have avoided this comment... :P

If I were him I'd be lurking around to see what everyone said about me. AND THAT'S SICK!

And so it is with him. But wtf, everyone's got their own style.

Let's feed him.... I think Thinman was the best forumer ever! Please don't go! Please!

Just kidding.

Why drag me into this? Is it because of what I did to the "Capitalism" thread?

The only way to really leave is to get yourself banned.

He's gone to wherever unica went. But unlike unica he craves some fanfare I suppose. I've never had problems with the Thindude and did glean some cool factoids from his posts. I'll sorta miss him too. :( But....I've got weird tastes and sometimes no taste at all!

That's more along the lines of truth as any I suppose. So Thindude, your post were all smelly and you got Stinkfoot too!
It's a bitch re-registering to respond to anything. What is it now, a 5 daze wait??? Yo' Mama, TH.!
