WARNING! DON"T READ THIS THREAD!!! (It Might Help)

That's right folks let's start documenting The Titoney's "lecturing points". What is true and what is Titoney Baloney?
How can you tell from his Gailspeak what's what. This could be tricky folks, but please have at it here and let's quit the legend making thread, it's an insult to FZ in my book.

So that dumb-ass GailSpeak Monkey said what now???

Please post your observations here:

Thanks,
KK {-

Just thought I'd drop in and check out the competition, kick the tires, as it were. The gumption of you, trying to cut in on my action. You, Kiirk, are the LOOK to my LIFE, the Tiny Tim to my Tom Jones, the flaccid manboobs to my erect and virile penis! You are the clown shoes, IMHO. So have fun with your little sideshow. I'll kill you come Sweeps Week. Mark my words, Kirk: You are Titoney Toasties.

Glad you joined me over here PJ. I'll be over to your place now and then too. The more threads dedicated to the truth about Titoney's Baloney, the more each newbie won't get fooled by him again.
Without our threads he just might have fooled a few into thinking he's the man behind the ZFT and all the decisions are run by him first. When the truth is he's really hiding behind DZW's terms of agreement crap. If you disagree with him, he cry's foul that your now harassing him. That makes him such a tool to me, that I can't stand it! I can't stand it! I really can't stand it.

Believe me, you don't want to know....

But if you really really do, move your new born into another room lock the door and then go here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjMO_ewZxIQ

Gary Titone posted and posted and posted and poszzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzz zzzzzzzz oh sorry fell asleep, he now only posts here occasionally under the alias Trendmonger, he now resides mostly over at DZW, where he is known as Gary, he can be identified by the brown lipstick smudged throughout his posts....

We love him and miss him, don't we Jim

Oh, how we miss him! I'll cry myself to sleep tonight if he doesn't post something soon. I crave his wisdom and the fragrant aroma of brown lipstick that fills the room whenever he's near. G Titty is my man!

If you can't understand his posts because of so much Gailspeak, this Titoney Baloney thread is to try and figure out if he means anything at all. That and but also, post any "pearls" like his "and but also" theory that FZ actually used that phrase *and but also* as a working musical theory. Get it? Don't worry, no one does.

In the past, I posted my favourites on the "Favourite Phrase" thread.
Example...
Trendmonger wrote:
...that does not mean pathetic cover band ejectamenta performance or commentary should be mumbo jumboed.

And, but not also...
Trendmonger wrote:
"DZs guitar rig and skill sets as a compositional guitarist cast a dark cloud on anything Ron Wood or Andy Summers have ever come up with in their long careers.
These guys are basically pedestrian pop guitarists.
It does not make them bad but DZs guitar compositional skills and guitar RIG are just from another galaxy."

I'm rather enjoying these old posts of mine!

Trendmonger wrote:
"This minimally addresses some backlash of thought agenda to a reeking beard that at times boldly waves a war flag agenda against the official nature of roots of artistic integrity of Zappa and those govern it."

What?? Andy Summers?? Do you think Gary even knows about Andy's album Earth + Sky? It's hardly pop.

Perhaps it would help to read it in context.
Perhaps not...

If the White Castles and the 40 oz Old English 800 were just a too bit harsh
let me just state you have no fucking clue what it takes to put ZPZ on the road.
The TOOL SETS and MUSICIANSHIP in ZPZ is something
The Rolling Stones and The Police would not deliver in their wildest dreams.

While The Rolling Stones have had these massive stage configurations that make for
large stage shows the equipment the musicians perform with
and the talent of the musicians is basically pedestrian rock & roll.
Even when Andy Summers recorded with Robert Fripp Andy's solos
and guitar sound was so pedestrian.

Robert Fripp & Andy Summers - I Advance Masked

The New Barbarians where Ron Wood added
Keith Richards and Stanley Clarke
was no different ...Pedestrian.

New Barbarians

DZs guitar rig and skill sets as a compositional guitarist cast a dark cloud on anything
Ron Wood or Andy Summers have ever come up with in their long careers.
These guys are basically pedestrian pop guitarists.
It does not make them bad but DZs guitar compositional skills and guitar RIG are just from another galaxy.

You can take the same basic principle and expand that where the
ZPZ band is an orchestra and those other bands are pop R&B/R&Reggae groups.

Zappa Plays Zappa is performing the compositions of a composer
but they perform it with the due diligence of any Zappa band.
They are not a cover band.
They are a modern rock orchestra no different than any of Zappa's touring lineups.

It's not the size of the venue,
it's due diligence to the composers intent.
Cover Band my ass.

Another goodie from 2008...

Now that's Titoney's Baloney and that's what I'm talkin' about here! Thanks jpd that's what I started this thread for. To look at some of the pure shit he's put out. Obsessive compulsive behavior and words. If the ZFT or DZ ever banned him, what would he do in his spare time? Stalk a Zappa, I'd suspect. Now it make's more sense, DZ being between a rock and a Gary Titone is a fucked place to be! Hee,hee, hee!
I'm glad it ain't me.

He's not even a cool nut like Ernest T. Bass. He's just a nut.

Definitely not. He says "DZs guitar rig and skill sets as a compositional guitarist cast a dark cloud on anything Ron Wood or Andy Summers have ever come up with in their long careers. These guys are basically pedestrian pop guitarists". He clearly hasn't listened to Earth + Sky. It is neither pedestrian nor pop.

I'm not saying he's wrong as regards likeability of the music - and I really like Earth + Sky - because that is just a matter of taste. He's completely wrong as regards his technical claims, he probably doesn't even know Earth + Sky exists.

Mining for a pocket of believability here? There is no intellectual sense here just non sense. It's Titoney's Baloney is all it is. Nothing more, nothing less. No insight into anything, even Dweezil his idol. He's stretched the truth so far as to make his comments about Dweezil offensive imo.
