Went bowling with the wife and my youngest today.

Going up the stairs I noticed my wallet (with all its glinting credit cards, bank cards, driver's licence as well as 200 Euros) was not in my jacket pocket.

After bowling, rushed round to the supermarket, where I believed that I had left my wallet.

The cashier smiled at me and said, with a knowing smile: "Did you forget something?"

"Yes!" I answered ferverntly.

Whereupon she handed me two sausages that I had never seen before in my life.

I eventually found the wallet under the driver's seat.

Thanks, Bonnie. And no, Kiirk I did not keep the sausages - I must be turning honest in my old age.

Congrats! I become a grandfather for the first time last night. Mercedes, 6 pounds 12 ounces.

Congrats, Cal.
They made mistake when converting the weight of Rebekah and she was actually born 6 pounds 12 ounces too - not 6, 7 like we initially thought 8)

Nah! She'll be 6000 km from home and partying at my expense! "Have kids they said, it's a way of life"-

She won't have any student loans to pay back if you're footing the bill then. So that makes it all worth it, doesn't it?

I spent the day with my girlfriend and her friends today, not expecting to enjoy myself -- the twist: I enjoyed myself quite a lot, but her friends apparently thought I was so quiet (and presumably boring) that they asked my girlfriend to drop me off at home

I call it a case of John Lennon syndrome: "No one I think is in my tree; I mean it must be high or low"

The Green Hotel...man it smells, but there's still no flies on Frank, no rank, it's strawberry feet forever...or sumtin' like dat!

Well, congrats all around for new children, grandchildren, grads....very nice! And a HUGE con-grab-ulations to my nephew Ryan for graduating today from my old high school---he's the fifth of our clan to move on out o' there. It was held outside, and since I wore a V-neck shirt, my face and chest are a tad reddish, but not painful. Ryan was very happy and appreciative of his grad moola, etc. After a family luncheon, he went home for awhile before going out to a BBQ and (probably) late-night card game with his pals. While waiting for the festivities, I took a pic of my old locker. The neph told me next year they're getting rid of the lockers---really? Crazy.

Congrats on the fifth generation thingy. That's very cool Dove, but it must have been hot too! The HS is in SM isn't it, or are y'all closer to SLO? It's been hot all over the north state and hotter on Sat..Btw, where's this young HS grad going to university or is he going to hitch-hike through Europe for a year or so first? 8)
