Many times? Other than Letterman what's he talkin' about? If he was backstage and FZ never saw him I guess that still counts in his book. :roll:

All of this seems odd...remember the toe-curling embarrasment of the rockline show? DZ referred to him as a "first time caller." Surely someone who was as close to the Zappa's as Tithead says (thinks) he is would have been addressed differently like "old friend" or "long-time fan" or something similar. If I had've been in DZ's shoes I'd have simply referred to him as a long-standing embarrassment to humanity and then hung up. But thats just me.

I haven't heard the rockline debacle yet. But if that's the way he's referred to, he can't honestly think he's one of the gang. :roll:

@KK worth looking for the rockline link. It's hilarious. As for what Shitone thinks...the guy's a fucking head case and is clearly deluded. I refer you to my colleague Dr. Pope's case notes wherein he warned DZ to be careful as Gary will one day become a stalker, most likely turning up at Dweezil's house dressed up in a DZ suit made from real human skin. And force them to eat one of his 'gourmet meals'*.

I suspect he's already in rehearsal. Perhaps he has a dining table in his den around which he has seated clothes store mannequins wearing photographs of Frank, Gail, DZ etc. for faces and with whom he converses nightly a la Rupert Pupkin.

* a.k.a. 'Shit'

That would make a good opening scene for a movie. Real life is a lot stranger than fiction, and this guy's really strange. Like he'd wear dead peoples skin and still consider himself a vegan, because Dweezil is. That's some scary shit bro'! But I like the way you think! :wink:

I find it interesting when DZ names several guitar players and they are all rock players, seems he named Ed V as his favorite, and also as the guy that influenced him the most, no wonder he can't read music.

@ Calvin: That is not the Rockline show where Trendmonger asked for a hootenanny. You got anything from 2010? I think Gail was in the studio with Dweezil that time.

The Trendmonger says: Dweezil Zappa is so talented he can put hair back on Paul Scaffers head.

Damn. It's actually from January 11, 2012 and isn't available anywhere.

So he asked FZ on Letterman if "we" can have a Hootenanny and then 30 + years later asks Dweezil and Gail the same thing? Like they'll even get his tiny, tiny, tiny (very small) joke ...That shit's going on 50 tours old man, he really needs some new material or like a broken record, he's stuck in the groove of Hootenannyism. Like that's what the Zappa's are all about, Titoneyisms and Hootenannies. :roll:
