Humans are nothing more than another natural progression of time. "Deserve" is far too subjective of a term. I suppose certain individuals deserve some sort of positive or negative response, but the idea that our species as a whole "deserves" something is as silly as saying that snails as a species "deserve" something. Yes, we have more self-awareness than most (all?) animals, but that is simply another result of nature and time, and attempting to judge such a thing really doesn't make much sense.

Snails are good people and yet some humans are so repugnant you could kill them with a handful of salt 8)

A couple of days ago, I used the words "no worries".
I guess that makes me an Australian.

In NZ there is the expression no wuckers, short for No Wucken Forries....I do believe this saying was exported to Australia......along with no worries and pavlova, but thats another story.....Poly may have something to add.....

Why is it that on some websites you need to hit the back button a couple of times to go back to the previous page?
On Amazon (.co.uk) for example I search Frank Zappa in music and then click on Apostrophe. This displays the product details. Then to go back to the search results I hit the back button but it doesn't go back. It does if you double click the back button.

WTF?

Hiya Crudblud, good to see you here again! :D

I really think NMB was FZ's best frontman ever! Saw him and Don Preston with The GrandMothers last night. What a musically great freaking show! NMB hasn't lost a beat! The guy is just awesome! Reminds me of Otis Redding. The intensity and his sax and voice are such strong Zappa sounding instruments along with DP's keyboards and they're guitarist, they nailed (and had fun too) all of OSFA with some Roxy and Burnt Weenie Sandwich tunes for taste! Awesome to the max. The guitarist was great without being over bearing and nursed his fender and foot pedals to replicate some of FZ's SG tones and sounds. Really top drawer. The bassist was a younger kid that did his job right. He hit all the right notes at the right time. The drummer I saw with them last year. He's added some stuff to his kit. Sorta looks like a Terry Bozzio drum set, but no matter this cat could rock! Hell they all worked together like one of FZ's well oiled musical machines!
Unless the ZappaFreaks come out in force next time they won't be back in SAC. I pulled my chair right up in front middle with my feet on the stage, when I wasn't dancing or getting DP some coffee I had the best seat bar none! I'm thinkin real hard of watching the riots in Oakland, then seeing the GrandMothers again at Yoshi's tonight. They played Trouble Everyday too! Very fitting for Oakland tonight. The last stop of this tour! :D 8)

Thanks Kapt, good to be back!

And I agree with you about NMB being a total powerhouse. Haven't seen any of his recent performances but I hear that he's doing great work these days.

The cats in fantastic shape, form and voice. He's running on all cylinders, just a purrin' along...and at 64! Quick witted and can still improvise when needed. He doe's sweat like crazy. Don's still having fun with the new technologies of the day. Exploding I-pads. Sheets of fire ladies and gentlemen, sheet of fire! The new guitarist is really good without being pretentious. Although he doesn't attack the guitar like Frank did, he nursed some of the best solo's I've heard of FZ music all outta a fender with a whammy bar and multi foot pedals. I was impressed again by them. Saw them last year too. They just get better! 8) :D
Too bad about Tom Fowler. The bass player was younger and very good too!

Some people really smell of washing powder. Is it because they wash their clothes in huge quantities of powder or is there an odor de persil that I don't know about?

hahahaha, to extend the metaphor and refute the quoted claim...

"those that pretend to have a beef with poltical correct speech,
have to both deny that shovels and hoses exist, and that
if they do exist, would never use them, when moving their shit"

hahahahhaa
