Did you ride the quake out ok?

A little shaky around the edges Daveo, but nothing we haven't seen before....Wellington has been braced for the big one for several years now. Over two years ago Christchurch (largest city in the south island) was pretty well decimated by a bunch of big quakes which exposed fault lines they didn't even know existed. Two years on that place is still being rebuilt (mostly due to insurance companies arguing about the repair or rebuild claims)...Wellington's CBD is surrounded by fault lines, a few of the major ones run right through the centre of the city, so when the big one comes we probably won't be able to get in or out of the city. Most of the elevated motorways in and out of town are built on reclaimed land, so they will end up in the harbour if and when the big one hits....If I survive thats going to be one hell of a 30 kilometre walk home when the time comes.

The question is, will I need a hardhat?

Black black sand, excellent west coast surf beaches around Raglan, can be a little scary after a big storm or two in the Tasman sea....I wonder if his royal popeness Jim, known in his youth as the accused by the local magistrate, is familiar with the art of surf/skate boardage?

You mean as well as driving the Hershey Highway, I also surfed the Sea of Shit and skated the Rink Of 'Rhoids? Anything's possible, I suppose.

Weren't you the first Pope to leave the gate open although the beast was asleep?

Would they make it through customs without alerting the booger beagles?

trivia: In NZ a "booger" is commonly referred to as a boogie.

Wouldn't locked to a broad be better? Say, uh, Lucy Liu, for example?
