On point: Looking good! And I am looking forward to see whether anybody except the ZFT will sell this. Actually, I'll pay $5 extra for a copy from a non-ZFT distributor. Anybody with the guts to put up $1000 for such incomprehensible gibberish deserves a small premium.
Thinking about it i suppose the firms that an afford the risk might get a good deal after all it's stopping the smaller retailers before the starting blocks.
So it looks like a 1 hour or so video,i thought it was 4 hours BBSNK DVD trailer for Roxy [4 hours uncut] :?

Sorry - I didn't realize that the word "oxymoron" was political - I'll shut up.

I know nothing...but what makes you think they will sell this at ZPZ, I have never seen FZ music at ZPZ gig...just thinking out loud... :smoke:

I bought the Buffalo CD and Classic Albums OS/A DVD at a ZPZ show.

I suppose I could also have said: Get back on topic and talk about Roxy by Proxy, moron.

That was my aim as well. It was not my intent to take a potshot at Caputh. ROXY BY PROXY represents the ZFT's satisfying the fans, let 's celebrate that.

DB, I don't share your politics but I support free speech, but not on the ROXY thread 8)

So, are the titles idiotbastard listed ("Inca Roads", "Penguin in Bondage", "T’Mershi Duween", "Dog/Meat", "RDNZL", "Cheepnis", "Dupree’s Paradise", "King Kong" & "Chunga’s Revenge") going to comprise the entire soundtrack? Or are there other tracks featured as well?

I'm a simple man, and all information has appeared somewhat vague to me.

For managing to singlehandedly turn the Roxy thread into yet another conversation about himself and a political argument, that would make Disco Douche a Proxymoron. :P

Hard to say. The versions of Dupree's Paradise and King Kong from the era could take up almost half of the allotted time on a single disc themselves, sans an edit job.

If that's the case, then why did at least a handful of other posters respond to my previous post where I only posted ONCE about the off-topic subject in question?

I am confused. Did the US take over Canada?

Earth to HJ: major Canadian banks were bailed out as well, since we also live in a similar Mixed Economy.

So free speech is something you support when it's convenient?

Good to know.

The same reason the DongMonger thread is popular.
2 self-absorbed, humorless know-it-alls that haven't a clue what utter asshole's they are.
Sorry, you raised the question.

As opposed to all of the other posthumous pre-release details we've received over the years?

This may very well deserve its own thread but since we're all here and Roxy/Proxy will most likely be involved:

Um.... didn't we just go through this a year or so ago with UME? Are we going to get 2013 re-issues that are slightly different than the 2012 re-issues? Does this mean more material from the vault? Does this mean less? Stay tuned... :smoke:

No, Kobalt is not a label. It sounds like they will be "administering" the publishing--handling synchronization rights for TV/film and such.

I tried to sign into Packard Goose, but I cannot, so I take Bonny's fine alteration as my avatar and gracefully thank her for the privilege.

This is the direction we wanted to go, at least there is light at the end of the tunnel

Thanks Bonny

Thanks Gail

Thanks Frank

So is Roxy By Proxy official release # 96?

Also, that article contains this quote:

"Zappa’s catalogue is closely guarded by The Zappa Family Trust, who this year will release the 100th official Frank Zappa album. "

So is the ZFT releasing at least 4 more albums this year, including RBP???

They said this last year, also. So believe it when you see it.
