I didn't see Meet The BeaTles in there. I thought that was a big seller back in '64, I bought it.

Tough call! Some of my favourites have already been named (Leg End, King Kong, CTA, VU&Nico) and so many of my favourite groups made a qualitative leap forward on their second or third albums (this includes Zappa, as AF and WOIIFTM are more fully formed than FO!), but I'll try to find some more goodies:

That be a Wailers record. The first Bob and TW was Natty Dread.
Unless ya consider Wailers = Bob (Like MOI = Frank)
But then Fire wd be the 4th or 5th.

According to Stolling Rone it's:

It's gotta be true!

I gave them a tongue lashing comment about FO, the MOI and Meet The BeaTles for good measure.

I agree. This LP exploded on the unsuspecting public, especially males, like no other LP. Not even Jimi Hendrix Experience which might be the closest in similar impact. Other bands like Pink Floyd and Beatles had to take several LP's to get there by which time the cat was out of the bag. I think FZ said the same thing about The Shaggs.

I beg to differ on The BeaTles. Meet The BeaTles was their 1st record and also a breakthrough for rock at the time here in the states. Sure they sold some records in England before, but when they broke in the states it was the beginning of "The British Invasion". They started it here with their 1st record. Meet The BeaTles.
