Get well, soon GG; I know the feeling only too well. Perhaps it's a NZ thing? Half my family comes from there and they've all got 'em.
On a more serious note, don't forget to have a proper check-up anyway.

They're both right. Want to here about my upcoming colostomy? Next week they'll be rammin' a space probe up my enterprise. Yowzer, it's my foist! I'm tryin to think of it as exciting and new adventures in medicine and remain detached....it ain't workin'. There's still the  effect.
Since FZ passed, I've been getting all that stuff checked out regularly as everyman/woman should. We've come along way in 20yrs. Prevention is cheaper than "just leave it alone" treatment. I've been off tobacco, salt, caffeine, red meat and processed foods for over 5yrs now and I feel a hell of a lot better not to mention the benefits, taste, energy, natural weight loss (40-50pds) I've limited alcohol to a pint or 3 at special times. And some herb in moderation of course. All this lifestyle change is gonna be the death of me. It's seems like yesterday I had a cast iron stomach, tequila flowed like water and none of it bothered me after a shower in the morning. Now I try that stuff and it's like giving meself the 3 day flu!

Hope you feel better down under soon Ghosty.

Thank you all, the full health check up is looming (mid October) and I do believe the teeth gritting tunnel cam is on the list this year. Good luck KK.

Waite a minute, is it a colostomy, or a colonoscopy?, I believe one you will have forever the other they will knock you out and look for polyps.

Camera and laser, remove any polyps. No shitting in a bag for life, just a rootin' check-up. Scared me for a second there BS, I had to look at the docs orders just to make sure. Maybe I should write rt.arm-save, lft-arm-save etc. on my parts just in case too.

'er indoors said "Happy Anniversary" to me this morning and in an instant I remembered that it's our 2 year anniversary.......
Gulp, "I've forgotten" I said.
Fortunately Rach was really understanding and I managed to make a trip to Tesco before work where I bought loads of baby milk, 8 cans of Grolsch, oh yes and a card!

I snuck back in the house put the beers in the fridge and left the card (yes, I filled it out) on the landing floor for her to see.
I've also suggested we go out for a Ruby later with our daughter and this has cemented my forgiveness, phew!

Joking aside I am fortunate that my wife wouldn't have given me grief for this 8)

I hope she knows how cool that is, but she still needs to follow up. She must know it's a cry for help. Good on her! And good on you MTF! 8)

Nice, people don't realize the miracle life is, and thus feel depressed with the paradoxical state of affairs in the great society. Kudos for her, be proud indeed!

I can imagine the feeling - how I'll feel when my 2 boys leave home, I do not know. Weirdly enough, I think my own parents were quite pleased when I went. :?

I've got about year before my 17 y.o. goes off to school. I am ALREADY dreading it.... I hope he's not overly happy to leave, like I was when I left!

When I left home, age 17, my father said "if you're not back in a Month, you're not coming back"

Day 29 I was back, I didn't know how good I had it at home until I left.

To this day I don't know how he felt about my leaving/returning, he was old school so we never talked.
