Verrrrry strange, Mr. G.G.
I bought both those albums on the same shopping trip, too........way back in 1974, though!
I never get tired of listening to them.

'The Retinal Circus' Over-the-top motherfucking deluxe box set - Devin Townsend.

Google it for pix.

The best package(!) I have ever seen. A 12"x12" box with a hardback book, with 2cd, 2dvd, 1bluray of the coolest gig I've been to EVER.
Also in the box, a pop-up recreation of the stage, masks, postcards plectrums etc plus a groovy lithoprint signed by Devin.

Not for everyone, but a great memento of a great night.

I have the 2004 2CD version but all the bonus material is different between the two sets (and Silver Springs is now tacked on to the end of the first CD, instead of being in the middle of the LP running order).

Mott by Mott the Hoople
school Days - Stanley Clarke
Janis in Concert
Planet Waves Bob Dylan
Saints and Sinners Johnny Winter

All from a UsedFurniture/Used Record and CD store 8) in Springfield Illinois - there on a business trip, found the store after the conference - cheap, could'a spent $50

(2001) Major Organ and the Adding Machine 2010 Deluxe CD/DVD Remaster
by Major Organ and the Adding Machine
Image
Very strange music for a very strange film, written, filmed and produced by members of the Elephant 6 Collective; the film is reminiscent of (1967) Magical Mystery Tour and (1971) Frank Zappa's 200 Motels, in my humble opinion -- a surreal tale loosely centered on two adventurous children, their exploits serving mostly as the backdrop, or an extension of the album itself. While not nearly as long as either film I mentioned earlier (running approx. 25 minutes qualifies it as a short film in my book), I felt it shared that certain bizarre wittiness of MMT and 200M, while maintaining a unique charm all its own.

Walker J, you have quite the selection!

The other day, I purchased a Jensen portable am-fm stereo/cd player for 20 bucks at Target. Hope it's not a get-what-you-pay-for deal. Bought a 2cd "greatest hits" set of Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles (separate sets) and Mumford & Sons Sigh No More...or is it Cry No More? Boy, bad memory but a VERY good cd, will have to look into more by them.
