Since this is a thread started by Jim, I thought I'd post it hear.
Today, in Eugene Oregon, family and friends are celebrating the life of Jim Wilson

Jim's sister posted this on his facebook page.

I'll miss your humor, bro.

Thanks coevad, I'll miss his old crusty character and was hoping to know him better. I can see he had a good family and friends and that makes him a rich man, imho.
Catch you on the Jimside Flip Wilson.

Don't dwell on Jim's passing on a Saturday night when YOU should be out & living as JW would want you, me and everyone else to do. He was a very nice man behind the rough exterior, he would have wanted us to celebrate his life. (nice vids btw coevad) Even those of us who didn't really "know" Jim other than from here, are slowly coming to terms with his demise. Waiting for the white smoke to signal another pope as it were. It ain't happening, that's life. :(
If it wasn't for DZ, he might not of joined us here. After all it was only after he pushed the boundary's of DZW that he realized his insult that FZ "Was a mean little man." did push the son to far. In a way this was the only place where like minded ZappaFreaks like him, me and you and a few more can go and not be censored in our posts.(thanx GZ) JW did not live in the world of unicorns, pink cotton candy, or fantasies of yuppie dumbo dumbies'.
It's ironic that he was a science fiction writer, when he was so real. Ya know?

We'll all miss him bro'.

I'm workin' from home right now. Smokin' and trimming buds, listening to FZ, drinking beer, talkin' up the pretty ladies passing by. I chose not to get married and have kids with a job that gives me an ulcer living in the rat race. But that's just me, I'm free, to do what I want...any ol' time. Scary isn't it!

Joseph was the carpenter. Jesus was the imaginary disease.

Jesus was sent down by the Anunnaki (the Gods old/new testament), most likely from the line of Enlil (God old/new testament), to create the new contract (new convenient) with man (the slave race they created)...these beings are not to be confused with Godhead the force that created and permeates the Universe, known to the ancient Chinese as Tao and to Buddhists as Zen…all the rest that most major world religions are based on are alien interlopers… :smoke:

I hope you're reading this somehow Pope Jim.

Trendy wrote on Feb. 6th 2014:

and but also, The Corsaga Series speaks with far too many levels of conceptual continuity for some of these so called fans to digest.
While it should be obvious that your hard work is quite out front in the Corsaga series, I reemain steadfast in not letting these so called fans that step up to the metaphoraical illicit interent bootlegging microphone spoil my enjoyment of the music.

I guess one can suspect their toilet bowl has a yellow duck attached to the front. The fans that complaign over and over, the bootlegging....

If I could politely say something to all the fans. Now listen, we all have a hard life, but I for one stand tall giving respect to all that the Vaultmeister and the ZFT are doing for Frank's music. Hopefully folks can learn to treat the music and intelelctual property with respect. Buy it or not, bootlegging the stuff is not a cool thing.

In specific regards to The Corsaga, these are not only special nuggets but compiled and produced with the finest icing annointment utensil. The previews of Camouflage Alone should have showed all these folks that there is so much material that is hiding behind the doors of the vault. This Group and Band are the realness that so many fans are now just learning about. We've had secret greasings but this one has all the right dance moves with a little ugliness on the side. If and when anybody's hands get stomped on, one can only look at the behavor inside the illicit cookie jar and understand why.
