I registered for the Forums at the Activation section on 10/23, before going to the show. I posted a couple of links after the show but my post to this section never showed up, I guess because I hadn't been "approved" yet. Anyway, here are the links again because I haven't seen that anybody else posted them. They are both from the LA Phil Facebook page. One is an album of a dozen photos from the show, a couple of which may be on Dweezil's site.

The other one is the board audio from the pre-concert talk.

So Ian Underwood participated in this? Great. Did he just play the keys or did he also whip it out some on the sax?

Ian Underwood performed on keyboards and sax. I'll say tenor, but I'm not 100% sure, because the notes had said alto. The orchestra was often half-lit, so it was often difficult to tell who was playing what. Also, there were generally things going on visually directly in front of him, so that made it a bit more difficult to say. The one chance I've had to see IA live and that's all I got...grumble, grumble.

On the other hand, I've grown happier and happier about the pre-show performance of the trial. I really hope they make it part of the 200 Motels audio release that is said to be resulting from all this. The voices really bring the text to life.

Wow, that link is nigh on useless! I dunno why does it give me anything other than the article about Frank Filipetti recording this itself?

I'm really happy it was properly recorded. I really want to hear it recorded and mixed well. From all accounts, it was a great show.
