Thanks for giving him a separate topic, he deserved one.

We'll miss you, Pope Jim!

Sorry I never got to meet you Pope Jim. Given our relative proximity, that's something that could have easily happened. Appreciate your fellow FZ fans. We are a relatively small group.

He had a beautiful life, from what I can tell and, besides, a lifetime of Zappa is a life o joy.

RIP Jim!

I didn't know him, but here's a nod anyway. Rest in peace.

I'm glad da Pope got his own thread. We'll miss ya Jim, ya old ZappaFreak. DZW's loss was our gain!

I too think Pope Jim deserved his own thread, I'm sure he made it to the not so secret basement in the sky...

We'll see ya on the other side Jim...

Thanks, Trip for posting that.
I've certainly noticed that the Zappa forum has lost one of its most interesting and amusing characters.

Jim Wilson was here.

I hope we catch a glimpse of him when the Dvd comes out.
He's hangin' w/George now.

At the chance of being repetitious, I must reiterate…as ornery and sarcastic the Pope was here on the Forum, when I met him last year in Oregon, he was the nicest most intelligent guy…who had traded in his life to take care of others…everything else was a front…one top shelf dude… :smoke:
