I know this topic gets touched on from time to time but...

I just received 10 Bill Evans albums, and 10 Wayne Shorter albums, all for the princely sum of £20 including postage. This is relatively new music for me- of course I've heard some of it before, but some will be novel, and exciting.

As the clock ticks, and more of these albums become available for peanuts, there will be more pressure on all 'record companies' to get product out for a good price.
The ZFT's ace in the hole is the vault! and all the treasures contained therein! and I hope I'm still here in 20 years applauding their efforts to get Frank's music out there.

But come on.. Move into the 21st century. Sort out the distribution etc
I will not pay over £20 for a single disc, or £50-70 for a multidisc box (unless it has a dozen or so discs...)
Apart from Francesco , and Filmore 71,I have everything he released in his lifetime, and most of the post 93 releases. I won't download stuff illegally. So I do get a little frustrated.
But, Fuck it. I just got 20 discs of new stuff ( not just glorified bootlegs, or alternate mixes and so forth) for twenty quid!
This 'artisan' stuff as someone else would describe it is nice to have, but with over 100 Zappa CDs I am hardly starving for 'the finest optional entertainment'.

On a lighter note, the Beatles are on the verge of getting fucked by the 50 year rule so break out the champagne and tinsel.

Doesn't get much better than Wayne Shorter and Bill Evans. Nice score.

ZFT should have released an official SBD of the Mount St Mary's concert, which is from 50 years ago.

They're on a label called 'Intense Media'. I got them through Amazon.
Ordered on Tuesday, arrived on Friday.
That is good service!
