Ha, I need to get one too. I will definitely read it. I got Zappa: THW under my tree at the moment, cannot wait to unwrap that sucker. And then on to TRFZB and maybe the Pauline Butcher one. I had a chat with Pauline on FB when she was promoting it, super nice lady. You find her on youtube now and then talking about Frank's music on some of his live videos.

Frank's book Them Or Us... I heard it is very very odd, what do you guys think?

Here are a couple of reviews - I wrote the favourable one --

Them or Us (the book) is tougher on your synapses than TRFZB, but if they're properly disconnected and you're into dadaism and pulp fiction it's a hilarious read.

A good 2/3 or 3/4 of the text of Them or Us is stuff you already know: "Greggery Peccary," Joe's Garage, "Billy the Mountain," and Thing-Fish, plus the unreleased Hunchentoot, all chopped up, thrown in the air, and pasted back together with dollops of new material. New horizons in conceptual continuity.

We should start a cult. Replace all the Gideon bables with TRFZB! That would "Freak Out" motel/hotel guests everywhere! 8)[/quote]

I volunteer to be a distributor. Where do I get 1,000 books and a year paid vacation?
