Just saw a documentary named "Pierre Boulez, le geste musical" on France 5, which first aired in March 2010.
Near the end, we can see an orchestra - likely the Ensemble Intercontemporain - playing The Perfect Stranger, then Boulez & Zappa sitting together.
It lasts only a few seconds, but I wonder if anyone has already seen the complete original footage and where to find it.

Sounds new to me. Have you tried the Zappateer's catalog thread? There's some interview and off the cuff Zappa related footages and/or recordings there. You might try they're Boulez/Zappa in search there. It sounds intriguing enough to peek the curiosity of all us ZappaFreaks! Please let us know what you find out there, down in France. 8)

I followed le link and read le article and didn't understand any of le words in it. I don't read le French. Say la vie! La vie! Now le laugh!
