Super Bowl prediction:

Bears w/Ditka - 157

The combined 'stoner' teams of Seahawks and Broncos - 26

Bears 256, the other team minus 983. At least. I mean, that's a conservative estimate in anybody's book.

Da Bears, no one else need show up unless they like a (-) minus on they're scoreboard/card. Even a CA. surfer* dude knows that, just ask Plook!

*surfs up, Mavricks is on at Half Moon Bay. 24hrs notice went out to all big wave riders today.

They're expecting wave faces of 35-40 feet.

Here's how a big wave rider described it to me: "Picture yourself on a surfboard on the roof of a four-story building that's collapsing in an earthquake."

My answer: no thanks...

Here's the official website for the contest

Thanks for the link MFT. It doesn't say, but Grind TV should be streaming it also. It's free. Looks to be perfect weather and surf for a real big wave showdown on Friday. I'm stoked! Cowabunga! :D

Biggest wave ever ridden...Portugal of all places...

http://youtu.be/IlrqyHIE4wc

Another biggy, this video gives the full effect of what big wave ridding is all about, make sure you have the volume up...one of the least appreciated things about surfing is what it actually sounds like when you are doing it...

I need a DR. just thinking about it!
Best coverage on the Body Glove/Mavericks Invitational live stream channel. 1st heat's just over. Nice day out there. The waters 42F. a little cold for my tastes though, just getting in the water would kill me!

They just said it's airing on universal HD also.
