I can't find this anywhere. I know ZFT are re-releasing some vinyls through UM and seems to be in random order. Any plans for this? It is his last album he completed, has massive, beautiful art work and needs to be re-discovered. I want it so damn badly.

I'd prefer a rerelease in the vein of the recent Velvet Underground book + cds packages, to do the artwork a favour. That could easily house a few discs of bonus material, too. I'm pretty sure FZ - who was not a vinyl lover/fetishist - would have found the idea of rereleasing a completely digital creation on slabs of fossil material ludicrous :smoke:

Have you seen the price of the vinyl from Barfko,
Them or Us Double album: US$250.00, Broadway the Hardway etc: US$150.00.

I'm a fan but I'm not crazy....well I am crazy but US$250.00 + freight to the bottom of the world
even crazy old me isn't pressing the buy now button at those prices....

Anyway I already have the originals which understadably didn't cost anywhere near todays asking price(s)...

I can't imagine what an official CP3 on vinyl would cost, I'd love to have it butttttttttttt......

I'd buy it in regular vinyl prices (I would even pay a bit over it), rather than buying the rest of the catalogue which I already have in one form or another in vinyl except for, coincidentally, Them or Us, including the recent reissues...

I just bought Finer Moments for something around U$ 30,00. I would gladly pay U$ 40 for an edition of CPIII in vinyl.

What they really need is an official Lather 4 LP box set, directly from the masters, not the bootlegged bullshit. And a re-release of the YCDTOSA Vol 2 box set.

I just need it so bad. I don't own the album and only want it on Vinyl due to the art work. I have recently got the new UM issue and today and yesterday I got WRMF, TMFU and TOU. With Weasels it has the original cover but it has five stars in the top left corner and is supposedly a 1975 german pressing. Anyone know anything about it?

I could have got that one for cheaper but I'm not a fan of the cover, if I already owned WRMF on CD I would have gone for it.

The plural of vinyl is vinyl, not vinyls. Used properly in a sentence, "I clean my vinyl with a VPI HW-16.5 machine."

I hope ZFT releases CP3 and The Yellow Shark on vinyl.

so the band 'divinyls' should have been called 'divinyl' all along!
BTW, clever name for a band IMO.

The best thing about Civilization Phaze III is the music. I like the cover too, but buy it for the music, not for the pieces of plastic and card.

I don't mean to interrupt, but can you convert vinyl into 24 bit digital and still retain the vinyl sound?

nice, that 5-star is german '71 issue [zappateers]

get cp3 on cd, vinyl would better serve stuff like road tapes or to go back & clean up some early albums ... rather a 'fixed' 3-lp set of studio tan/sleep dirt/orchestral favs than a 3-lp civ phaze iii that has no analog source or content

I suppose I will. Can't help but fetish vinyl packaging.

And yeah a '71 pressing? Lovely, in very very good condition, got it cheap too. About £18 including P&P
