No the majors fly you to the hubs direct flights are hard to get from Sacramento, one time I was going to Dallas and they wanted to fly me to Atlanta and then to Dallas...

It's been awhile but it was easier to fly outta Oakland or SFO to LA than Sac.. Heck, Sac. wanted me to fly to Phoenix then LA for a little more $$'s too and that was to the Ontario, CA. airport, not LAX.

They used to have a commuter planes twice a day that hopped down the valley, Sac, Stockton, Modesto, then LA. It was always full by Modesto going down and empty by Sac. coming back.

Don't beat the first responders to the scene, eh? Have an uneventful flight.

Made it to Phoenix, I better get my super powers working again since I schedule 3 days of auditing for one day, I am trying squeeze my travel time down so I can be at the rehab...if I can work from a hotel room, I can work from a Hospital room…

That dam rehab is a good hour away and its over a 110 miles round trip, I’m a driving fool and I raised my girls that way too (they never shy away from a 500 mile drive day)..its just that much time committed to driving makes me keeping my work profile functioning harder, I’ve been trying to do all my phone calls while driving…

Mrs.Plook is getting better a little bit each day, but this is some slow going…Doctors are stumped their back to talking brain cancer, they just can’t let that go…if that was what happened then it would be the biggest coincidence in history that brain cancer kicked back in the same day of a surgery and the same day of the move to the rehab…one doctor said it is almost impossible it is such a long shot.

Look after yourself too Plookman; your family needs you as much as you all need Mrs P, so take care with all the driving. Rest and rehydrate and you better be doing the hands-free phone thing or the powers of the Zappa forum may well start chewing on your ass. Positive vibes, and maybe a little snow, from the great white north.

Sam He Is, has a point about the phone. Your distracted enough as it is right now. You do have a hands free device for flappin' yer yap right? Please tell us it's true Plookster... :?
Maybe call the daughters Plook and let them know they're doing an awesome job? It helps lift the troops morale. Just don't do it without a hands free device if your driving. It's a good .

I use a Bluetooth while driving unless I am texting or on the inter net...

I will pass that on to the daughters, they are real troopers... :!:

Thanks Philostopher I need all the support I can get, I only have a toe hold on it right now, but I managed to get through my QA's today now to start writing reports...

Mr.GG thanks for bumping that, it really hit the spot the first time and did again this time, watched the video and a couple others...

What's up Plook, ya keepin' busy on the road? My best to the Mrs. of course and how's the weather around Phoenix, Arizona treating you?
Best of vibes to the Plook women holdin' down the fort! 8)

I returned yesterday, I am sitting here typing from Mrs.Plooks bed side, when I was in the airport yesterday got a call (it is a guarantee if I am traveling a doctor will do some big move or procedure, go figure) they wanted to do a Cat Scan of her head and neck they thought she must have had a return of brain cancer and it spread to her neck.

I told them do it and well they were at it let’s do the spinal tap too and settle this once and for all, they said they could only do the Cat Scan. I contacted the Gamma Knife people again I know they were sick of me calling but I had to reach out. They are very professional and cannot understand why the doctors will not consult with them.

I got a call from the Doctor at the rehab and he wanted to try a new medication on the advice of their in house Neurologist and I said no, I am no longer asking…I demand that they call the Gamma Knife people and consult with them before they make any changes in any treatments.

I told him you have (3) of the top Brain doctors in the country waiting for you to consult with them, why would you not use that asset, he asked for the number and they finally talked with them, they are going forward with the new medication.

Well it looks pretty bad from where I’m sitting, I think we need to do this Spinal Tap soon and find out if we should even put my poor wife through any more than needed.

Good for you Plook, ya didn't take no crap. The squeaky wheel get's the grease they say. Why the hell won't they do the tap at the same time? (if it's even fuckin' necessary, I hate those things!) Make them think it's their idea, that works on some of them. It's not good moving her around so much if she's feeling weak.... ah, you know all that stuff by now. Don't lose heart, keep fighting the good fight. What do the daughters Plook think?

We're all hopin' for the best here.

Well my friends I hate to say it, but it may be time to bring Terri home and let her go with her family and friends nearby, she fought hard and is an example to anyone of what it means to battle to the end.

We are working on plans to transition her Monday or as soon as possible and then it should only be a matter of time.

I want you all know that she knows that you all supported her and your cards, letters, and gifts have been with her this entire time. They made a difference for her and got the attention of all who cared for her, they were impressed by such national and international support.

I am going to have a nice dinner with a friend who is like a son to me (Nic my ZPZ partner) and I am going golfing with my strongest confidant Brad at 6:30 and I will spend Easter with Terri alone. I gave the daughters a day off, they have been through so much and to lose the women who made them strong woman is just so sad.

Kapt Kiirk I may need you to use all your skills to put a video together for Terri, give me a call, I’m calling in a favor bro…

Thank you all, I will update when possible

Plook, there's nothing to say at times like this that will make things any easier but don't forget there's a LOT of us out there who are hoping for the best for you and all your family.
