Amazing show. Over all great.

Highlights:
Inca Roads (ofcourse)
City of Tiny Lites (Mr M Brocks vocals kicked ass, as it did on all the tunes)
Montana (Steve played a great solo)
Zomby Woof (Steve played a great solo again)

and Black Page ofcourse. One of the best Page I´ve heard.

Got my ticket as a birthday present, best present I ever got! :D
Amazing show! Dweezil and all the guys in the band must have practiced a LOT, I don't think FZ himself could have done it any better, fantastic!

GO SEE IT!

Great show
If anyone finds a tighter band let me know.
I wish i´d had a seat right in the front to see Steve Vai´s hands move across
the fretboard. He is amazing.

The sound was great but not perfect. The rythm guitar was mixed to high
during some of the solos by Vai and made a kinda ringing resonans.
And the sax & Napoleon´s vocals could have been mixed a bit higher.

I sat at A15 row 5 seat 16 and the guys next to me (hope they read this)
should have been thrown out!
They were to drunk to appreciate the music and were more interested in
running up & down to smoke an drink beer. At least 10 times.
I just can´t see the benefit of beeing drunk at a show like this.

Thanks to Dweezil and the band for the great music.

KEEP IT GREASY :D

This was truly a great (and unfortunately rare) moment for live music. I must say that I am very impressed that Dweezil has managed to pull this true. He has developed into a marvelous guitar player and also seems to become a great band leader. The whole band was excellent (Scheila wow!) and it was a pleasure to hear Napoleon, Terry and Steve again! I really hope this will happen again and again....and please release the Roxy DVD!!

Thanks, see you next time (maybe with Mats & Morgan on stage)!

Music is the BEST!

Indeed, what a great night. And i've got the pictures to prove it:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/anderslars ... stockholm/

I sat on the fourth row from the stage, and quite a few of these turned out nice. Check 'em out. The only disappointments during the evening were: No Mats/Morgan (especially since they said on their they would join the band onstage); pretty much the same songs were played as the night before. But, who cares? I'm too young to have experienced the real thing (i was 9 years old in 1988) so just being able to see Bozzio sing 'Punky's whips' made the evening for me.

Thank you very much for a remarkable and a fantastic show yesterday. I saw Frank Zappa at least ten times in Stockholm, between 1968 and 1988 and I must say that this show were far better than I could have dreamt about.
Your performance was absolutely great and I really liked your final choose of all his songs.
Also, I’m very happy for my son that he now have seen and heard FZ music live and I know that he will not miss your next show in Stockholm for any reason at all.

I was truly amazed by this band and their ability to play Frank Zappa in the way he used to do it. Well done with the casting, there, Dweezil & Ahmet! A faboulous band, all with fabolous careers ahead of them, I sure. A great step, this, positively!
And then the old Zappa-ensemble members, all three enchanting in their on ways, as the legendary themselves doing what they always been doing on Zappa-turf. Steve the Fantastic! Napoleon the Great! Terry the Force! :D
And then the Dweez with the sensitive and magic guitar. And the heart to make his dads music come alive again! I do thank You from the bottom of my heart for making this project come true. It was probably as much a dream for me, as it must have been for You. What You and your brother has done as a truly important thing, and I hope You will get credit You deserve here.
So there were 10 amazing musicians on stage, and some people behind it, all making this happen with the true heart and feeling of FZ, and it really dazzled me. I was not sure beforehand what to expect, but I was totally taken in by the force on stage and I really see, that FZ can have a continued life on stage, now and in the future. So, I truly hope this wasn't a one-time experience, and that there will be a return of the "Zappa plays Zappa" experience (I do not wish to wait another 20 years between shows).

I humbly bow [eyebrows sweeping the floor]...

I'm at a loss for words. I joined this forum just to be able to express my most sincerest gratidude and thanks to Dweezil and the rest of the band for doing this tour. You fullfilled one of my greates wishes, to be able to see Napoleon Murphy Brock sing the songs I love so much with a band that really knows how to deliver them and love doing it.
The show was utterly amazing and a true highight in my life and I will remember this night for as long as I live.
Thank you so, very very much.
/Stefan

Jepp. I was at Hovet, last time I saw Frank was at this very venue, 18 years ago...

And I saw this show alongside some friends that I haven´t been seeing since -88, Franks music was our connecting link.

So this gig was for me very emotional both in terms of the Music and to see long-missed friends again.

Oh, the revue... One word is enough: "Amazing!"

Hope to see you Dweezil and the guys again soon.

Thank You, from the bottom of my heart. :D

The Stockholm, Sweden ZPZ show on friday the 19th of May was not professionally filmed.
I sat at third row. A handheld camera was there though.
At least three DAT audience recordings exist , my friends made them.
I sat next to an old friend and one of my sons. Indoctrination works !!!
Great show, I was totally amazed. Tears came to my eyes. I had very high expectations of the show, but it was
much, much better than I had expected. Napoleon, Steve and Terry
were unbelieveble. Dweezil was really great and the unknown musicians
were top-notch. The last time I visited that arena was on May 1, 1988
to see Franks last tour.
If you got the chance, please see ZPZ !! You won't regret it.
