WOW what a show! Fantastic! Getting better every year. You must go and see that show. And take your friend with you.
I saw all the Swiss ZPZ-shows: 2006 in Zurich (still sorry about the stolen laptop! That's not swisslike) and 2007 Fribourg. Didn't go to see them in 2008 in Bern (don't like festivals: too crowded and only short concerts!). This was by far the best ZPZ show I saw so far. The band's getting tighter every year.
I had mixed feelings about the new singer. But Ben did sooooo well - he's great. I'm sure he's gonna be a fantastic new lead singer. He told me that he's still practising hard - so you guys in the USA: He's gonna be perfect after the European tour. Forget about FZ alumnis! Ok, it was nice to see Bozzio, Brock, Vai and White again. Did anyone know Sheila or Billy or Pete or Jamie ? Of course not - and they are fantastic. Well done Dweezil. Go on choosing young unknown musicans - that's what Frank did too. Or did anyone know Terry Bozzio or Ed Mann or Tommy Mars or Napoleon Murphy Brock or or .. before they played with Frank ?
I liked the venue a lot - not too big with very good accoustic. People were crazy and the band sometimes too. Dweezil, Ben, Sheila and Billy stayes on stage after the show very long, talking to people and signing t-shirts, setlists, tickets ... very intimate moments. Fantastic.
I wish that one of the guys who was lucky enough to grab a setlist put it here. Thanks.

Thanks for the setlist. They also played "Chunga's Revenge". The very long version with all the solos ! Great solos by Pete and Billy. Remember ? Dweezil said that he forgot to put it on the setlist. That's OK.
