Did you attend the ZPZ show at Handelsbeurs in Ghent?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Second of four shows:

Nice place, the "Handelsbeurs" in Gent.
No security between audience and stage.

Good sound, tight band, no suprises in the setlist, a no-risk show.
Black Page #2 : 99%

The audience was the best since ZPZ is visiting Belgium.

Amazing concert, congratulations to every member of the band and a big wauw for newcomer Ben Tomas. Once again the band blows us out of our shoes. Very, very good sound, very nice song choice and every year again a musical miracle. The venue was also very well choosen. If I have to be negative I have one small remark and this is about the light show. I can understand that bringing an extra men for the lights is maybe to expensive but I am shure that, and this only for Belgium, a few dozen of very good light engeneers would do the job for free (and I am not one of them). Of course this is an extra to the music and this is not realy a must to have a light show but I prefer none than the one we received yesterday. Most of the time half of the band was somewhere between dark and light and this light men knew only the sliders for red, white and I saw also a very, very, very little pink. I think that in this case it would have been better if there was just an automatic program. It seems that this was the light men from the venue itself ...... they have a problem !!! I am also shure that he didn't know the music of Zappa at all. You can do so much nice things with lights but he total messed up.
So once again concerning everything to do with the music, outstanding. Thank you Dweezil to keep this music intact.
Have a nice time during this European trip, thanks for the visit in Belgium and hope to see you next year again.

This was yet another amazing show (2005 Brussels and 2007 Antwerp) and thanks to all memebers of the group for giving us this very enjoyable evenig with good music.

It is indeed a very good idea to give the show in a smaller venue, more like a club concert. And, compared to the precious concerts, the audience this time was more open to reaction and participation.

Ben is a good choice and his voice has the capacity to cover the different sounds of the original MOI singers. (Ben, didn't you like the "Bels" beer after the show or did you run out of beer so we had the chance to meet you in the lobby?)

Thanks again DZ for coming with the show to Belgium and hope to see you here again next year.

I know that some people from the audience have received the setlist after the concert. Would anyone of them be so kind to scan it and post it please? Thanks in advance.
