Back for another few thoughts:
This was my 3rd ZPZ concert, and almost the best - the best was in 2006, Budapest, that was jaw-dropping, and my least favorite was Antwerpen, 2007.
This show was REALLY GOOD, an almost-best-type of a show. Maybe it was a bit too loud, I was walking up and down to catch the best sound, but sometimes the rich textures of the tunes was not perfectly audible to me.
The first part of the program was quite all right, but everything exploden in the second half. I LOVED the Black Page, especially Nr. 1., and from that point everything was full of energy.
The crowd in Vienna was crazy: sreaming, shouting all the time - and one time Dweezil used them (=us) very cleverly: in the middle of Sheila's solo he (without any "rehearsal") showed the audience to scream - rithmically, louder, softer, etc... Different than FZ, but a totally on-the-spot gesture, an improvised "audience-participation".
It was a looooong show, everybody just danced and jumped up and down, the room was full of energy. It's still strange to see Dweezil just standing there, but after 3 shows its okay for me. He seemed to be a bit exited, too, to be fair. :-)
I liked Ben Thomas: he has a strong voice, does his job really well. I'd like to have a recording of Bamboozled, Lucille, Inca, etc. with him.

What I missed: more change, variations in the setlist on this tour, it would be nice to hear things like Baltimore, Big Swifty, etc... But hey, I just can't complain with hearing the Black Page, Dont You Ever Wash That Thing, etc.! :-)

We met lots of guys from Hungary - some of them came from 1000 kilometerers away! Next time you should come to Hungary!!!
