I was at the Clearwater show and it was excellent. I've been a Zappa fan since 1964. I saw Frank play every time he played in Chicago from 72-93. 74 Mother's day was the best. I closed my eyes for a while during Dweezil's solo tonight and it was just how I remember his dad sounded like. I always loved the part of the song where Frank would play. It was also interesting to hear Carolina Hard-core ecstasy. I am 99% sure that it is written about a girl I was dating. I had 2 tickets for the show in Chicago with Captain Beefheart and I had promised the ticket to a friend. Caroline wanted to go, so she used her feminine ways to get into the concert. After the show, I had decided to try to meet Frank and get an autograph where the limo's were parked. Frank and his wife came out and then Beefheart came out with Caroline on his shoulder. Next album, the song was released. The song fit her well. I'd love to know for sure, so maybe Dweezil can tell me if he knows. Anyway, I brought my 20 year old daughter to the show, so I am trying to pass on Frank's music. I have all of the first 20 albums or so, so she will inherit them some day. I'm sure Frank would be very happy with what I saw tonight. Thanks to Dweezil for giving me a taste of my youth.
