Did you attend the ZPZ show with Dream Theater at Brookhaven Amphitheatre in Farmingdale?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Wow!!!

The concert was spectacular. I'm an old guy, turned 49 on 8.8, this show was my birthday party. I was lucky enough to see Frank Zappa a few times in my younger days. Always loved his music. It's spectacularly hard to play (I play drums). Hearing it performed so perfectly, Live, by this band of, you know, Kids, really kicked my ass. We left the show elated at such at such an incredible performance. I'm buying the DVD, so I can watch it over and over on the big screen at home.

Thanks guys. I hope you play Long Island again. We'll be there.

I thought the ZPZ show at Brookhaven was a let down. But I think it was because ZPZ wasn't headlining. The band just seemed uncomfortable. And the audience seemed like they were only there for Dream Theater. I too was kinda lost in that audience. I can't wait to get back to Westbury in June 2010. And if by chance Dweezil actually reads this: Please always be the headliner. But most of all thank you for what you do. Frank's music was such a unique thing. The depth and humor is the key.
