Did you attend the ZPZ show with Dream Theater at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre in Denver?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

An inspiring show as always. Many thanks to DZ and the rest of the ensemble for keeping Frank's music alive. I've been to all three Denver shows, and will continue to show up for as long as you are kind enough to do it.

I was there with a few people my age (30's/40's) that are already fans of FZ's music, but we also brought two people with us of high-school/college age. They were completely blown away and wished ZPZ could have played the whole night (no disrespect intended to Dream Theater). I wanted to mention this since bringing FZ's music to a younger audience is one of your stated goals.

As an aside, I'd love to see Ike Willis sing with you guys. I don't know if there's any chance of that, but just wanted to put it out there.

Thanks again for providing the World's Finest Optional Entertainment.

I'm an avid Dream Theater fan, and I attended primarily to see them. However, the ZPZ set was un-freakin-believable! I have listened to Zappa some over my years, and even though I own a few albums (CDs), I couldn't be described as a true fan. Seeing this show really brought to life what one can't get from a recording. It was amazing and so much fun!

Could someone post a setlist from this show?

An update to my post up above...one of the young guys we brought to the show just posted this on Facebook:

"That was the most amazing show I've EVER seen. Clapton needs to move over, because ZAPPA. IS. GOD."

here's my best guess at the playlist:

Purple Lagoon
I'm The Slime
My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama
Montana
Village Of The Sun
Outside Now
Bamboozled by Love
Pound For A Brown
Inca Roads
Willie the Pimp

Great show! Thanks ZPZ!!
