Did you see ZPZ at the Paramount Theatre in Denver, CO?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Another great Colorado Show! The revamped set list was appreciated, and even though I miss many of my favorites from tours past, it's fantastic that you keep everything so fresh! The jams were particularly entertaining this time around and Ben's trumpet really adds to Sheila's horns to help fill the sound. And the Fillmore East material was a real enjoyment, along with the numerous ad-libs by Ben to make the songs sound spontaneous in their content. Apostrophe and Eat That Question were intense versions and the addition of Chris Norton on Keyboards really helped to fill out the sound again- nice version of City Of Tiny Lights, Chris!
You guys never fail to reflect the enjoyment of being onstage- thanks for always making it show!
By the way, was the secret word last night "dense"?
Ben, the way you went the extra yard and handled the set list discontent after the show was professional, kind, and left everybody involved happy. And thanks to Dweezil for your unending patience after the shows and for signing my photo of our new wiffleball stadium scoreboard- it will be posted on the scoreboard-no longer will I need to worry about people mis-pronouncing the stadium name!!
Thanks again SO MUCH for continuing to return to Colorado!!!

I can't say enough about how great I thought this show was. Every member of the band was over-the-top fabulous. I was deeply impressed with all the different guitar sounds deployed and every solo was super delicious and nutritious. The singer was great and he did very cool instrumental work too. The whole project is just so jammed with talent - delivering on Frank's music in spades. What a testimony.

I was the lucky winner of a Dweezil-autographed Fender Stratocaster a few years ago from a guitar mag give-away. I didn't know at the time just what a monster player Dweezil is. Dweezil, if you're reading this, you really are a monster and I can't thank you enough for delivering so masterfully. Wow! And hat's off to the other guitarist who handled the slide work on Advance Romance and who just killed with those other expressive solos.

(I met Frank once in NYC, when the Baby Snakes movie came out, having won tickets from a radio station. I was late to arrive but got there just in time to see Frank at the rear, checking out the audience. A quick handshake and a smile before sitting down. I found $80 under my seat.
I've been a fan since 1972 yet only managed to get to one Frank Zappa concert in the 21 years he had left. I hate myself for that. But the Zappas have been lucky for me.)

People of the world, go tell your friends to get off their asses and see this group at every possible opportunity. There is nothing remotely like this anywhere. You'll have your socks blown off.

The show was incredible! Dweezil and the band continue to get better as time goes by. I hope that Colorado stays on your intense touring schedule. Thank you Dweezil for keeping the music alive and caring about what you do and understanding how much we fans appreciate you and the rest of your crew! Hope to see you hear again in the fall.

Yo DZ.....loved this 7th time I've seen you do this! Including going to NYC to see one of the 'You Can't Fit On Stage Anymore' shows at The Blender.

Very cool that you guys are doing more jamming and playing more instrumentals this tour.....I was the guy the other night who reminded you it's time to learn 'Watermelon In Easter Hay'.....you actually said at the NYC show that you need to learn that one....so here I am to beg you, errrrr, REMIND you of it!

Ben seems to be getting more comfortable and more educated in the ways of Frank and I loved his annimation as he becomes a seasoned band member. Shiela was great as always as was everyone.

Still would love to see 'Joe's Garage' the theatrical......I think it could be a great visual as well as musical event....just tossin ideas at ya!

Thanks again for the GREAT entertainment and I hope Colorado is ALWAYS on the tour list.....how bout the Belly Up in Aspen again and the Fox in Boulder....that was SOLD OUT last year!!

Rock on DZ

A Soldier's Brilliant Idea

Mr. Robinson had to travel somewhere on business, and as he was in a hurry, he decided to go by air. He liked sitting beside a window when he was flying, so when he got on to the plane, he looked for a window seat.
puma chaussures He found all of them had already had been taken except for one. There was a soldier sitting in the seat beside this one, and Mr. Robinson was surprised that he had not taken the one by the window; but, anyhow, he at once went towards it.nike air max tn

When he reached it, however, he saw that there was a notice on it. It was written in ink and said, "This seat is preserved for proper load balance, thank you." Mr Robinson had never seen such an unusual notice in a plane before, but he thought that the plane must be carrying something particularly heavy in it, so he walked on and found another empty seat, not beside a window, to sit in. Two or three people tried to sit in the window seat beside the soldier, nike air max 95 but they too read the notice and went on, when the plane was nearly full, a very beautiful girl hurried into the plane. The soldier, who was watching the passengers coming in, quickly took the notice off the seat beside himself and in this way succeededin having the company of the girl during the whole trip.nike air max
