Oh well...

The band was tight, the performance spot-on, the crowd in a great mood.

The sound SUCKED. The mix was muddy much of the time -- the vocals incomprehensible, the guitars too far down in the mix -- and it was no where near loud enough (though some of the specific instruments were). I was sitting close to dead-center in the venue, so my location should not have been a factor. In fact, my listening postion should've been ideal.

I saw ZPZ in ’06 at the Roseland in Portland, and at the Key Club at Morongo in Cabazon, CA. In both cases I was in what otherwise should've been a less-than-ideal listening position. But once the sound tech(s) got it dialed in, the sound at both shows was stellar: crystal clear -- you could hear every instrument and vocals even during the most complex jam -- and powerfully loud, so I know they know how to do it right. Perhaps it was just an off night or some piece of equipment was malfunctioning. Oh well. I won’t give up on them yet...

We (and seemingly everyone around us) thought the show was amazing. Guys around us were freaking ecstatic and understandably so. Phenomenal talent every one. And that guy does outrageous vocals. A bit embarrassed to say that I personally had never been into or really familiar with Zappa's music before, but thank you Dweezil for making it available live. Your dad would have to be proud. (and by the way, was he a genius or what?) If you come to Eugene again, we will definitely go again.

BTW, I also appreciated your taking the time to connect with fans afterward - patiently and personally. Class act all the way.

It would be so cool if you could perform on the Main Stage of the Oregon Country Fair next year. You and your band would have a blast, and us OCF fair-goers would be truly stoked to have you there. hello Tom from eugene ! reporting that the show sat night rocked me to the core .the band was phenominal, and as far as the sound goes... I was front row balcony, and the sound for me was perfect
Having never seen Dweezil before I was most impressed by the pure talent and the great HUMOR associated with a ZAPPA show I first saw his papa FRANK new years eve 1977 UCLA till 1988 when my last show was Santa monica civic ... always loved this music and I am so glad these fine folks are keeping this CRAZY wonderful,brilliant ART of MUSIC ,alive and progressing ... not many would dare venture the places this band travels BRAVO !!!ZAPPA and COMPANY!!!

Ben?! Wow ~ I saw DZpZ in South Lake Tahoe last year and I thought Ben was a great addition, but now he is a genuine ROCK STAR. Great vocals and good stage presence. So fun to watch...

Well, well... Scheila. I get tired of singing her praises, but every time I see her.. well I have to sing her praises.

And Holy oil spill, I have seen ZpZ play 7 times now and have never seen Jamie rip so hard.
