Did you see ZPZ at the Moore Theater in Seattle, WA?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

The band ROCKED HARD, long and hard.
So many nice extended jam sessions.
The best sax solo I've heard in my life.
Seeing Jeff Simmons come up and sing/play Wonderful Wino was awesome!
Joe Travers tight as ever.
Loved hearing the 200 motels songs.

The venue was a bit off acoustically, (I think the Seattle 06, and 07 venues had the best acoustics, but the band jammed so hard it really didn't matter.)

You guys played yer guts out - SEATTLE THANKS YOU!

Thanks so much for the great show! Awesome music played by incredible musicians! My only minor "complaint" - and this is completely my own and don't necessarily expect others to share this - was that I was unfamiliar with a lot of the material. Not too surprising considering the sheer volume of Zappa's collection (though I always thought my familiarity with the catalog was a little better than it apparently is :-)). It's still nice to hear new music, but I would have also enjoyed "Peaches en Regalia", "Zoombie Woof", "Uncle Remus", "Sofa", etc. City of Tiny likes and Apostrophe where nice inclusions, and getting Jeff Simmons up on stage was cool as hell! I can't wait until you're back!

Thank you Dweezil the show was unbelievable, my favorites were Blessed Relief & Big Swifty--WOW they were hot. I also enjoyed the bands musical humor. I hope in the future concerts you would play a little more from Joes Garage. It was also amazing the energy you guys play with, every single song was played with balls, your dad would have been proud. Cant wait to see you again-signed the worlds Biggest zappa fan.THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Great show last night. I appreciate the deep cuts the band pulled out of the catalog this time around. It keeps it fresh and interesting IMO. We've heard Peaches, Zombie etc, plenty. Thanks for whipping out Fillmore stuff especially the Latex Solar Beef a long time fav. And beautiful work with Blessed Relief.
Well done. The Jeff Simmons side show entertainment was great. Good Job.
Set List anyone?

Simply put...This is the best show that so many have yet to experience...Dweezil, thanks for the Deep tracks at this show...we all love Montana etc....but this deep lesser known stuff is where it's at. Big Swifty...are you kidding me.FANTASTIC !!! City of Tiny Lights was one of my favs, and that boy can sing!!! This was my 9th show and I will continue to support the tour as long as you bring it!!! I liked the bagging on Lover Boy (true Frank style). Come back soon.

PS.. Did anyone see the really bad air drummer/dancer in the yellow hat?

Spoke to my good friend Marc (since 1st grade) and he saw the show in Ventura and was just blown away .......we used to see Frank together back in the greater LA area and we both hope Dweezil continues to enjoy bringing this music to us. The Seattle show again was mind blowing. Billy , I bought you beers after the show in Bend, Or. last year and I swear Billy was pointing at me as to say that was the guy....matbe maybe not...Please keep bringing it Dweezil.

The Seattle ZPZ show registred my fourth time seeing the band (Birmingham, Buffalo, Wilmington) although the first with the new players (most prominent, Ben). The Moore theater was a great venue and the Seattle crowd was definitely in great spirits. I was initially wary of Ben as I thought he was simply going to do a cheesey FZ imitation all night. My fears were quickly dispersed as he proved to be immensely talented and a tremendous asset to the band. Beyond The Dweeze, Sheila coninues to amaze me with her talent. Big Swifty was a definte highlight! Following the show my buddy and I got to meet most of the bad at the Whiskey Bar next store. Everyone was very gracious as two middle aged fans acted like groupies, secured autographs and complemented the players.

A couple of requests: Please return to the Philly area soon and consider playing the Keswick Theater (old movie theater that would lend perfectly to another live recording). Dweeze since you mentioned playing Sahalee with Ben (incredible course), you have an open invitation to play one of the many Classic courses in Philly (on me).

I saw FZ quite a bit in the day (2 shows a night at the Tower Theater). Thank you for keeping this wonderful gift of FZ music alive!

Will somebody please post the playlist from the Seattle show?
