Absolutely amazing concert. Stood up front with my hands on the stage. Incredible musicality. Cannot fathom 8 musicians making all of that music.
Loved it!

Fabulous show last nite at the Rapids Theatre! Got there quite early-wanted to try and get Dweezil's autograph this time! Ended up getting his signature for myself and a dear friend-Dweezil and a few bandmates signed a guitar and a Fender Strat pickguard for me, and got a pic of myself with Dweezil, and met Scheila, Jaime, and got to b.s. with Joe Travers also! Thanks so much Dweezil! And thank you for keeping your father's music rolling for us to enjoy!
One of the best days of my life-so far-getting to chat with Dweezil and mates for a few minutes! Thanks for taking a moment to say hello-it really meant a lot to me and my fiance!
Show itself was 5 stars!!!! Great setlist! Light dude gave me a setlist after the show! Thanks light dude!
After the show, we ran into Joe Travers coming up the steps, as we were leaving. He asked us if we enjoyed the show, and asked me what my favorite song of the evening was? Are you kidding me? I replied "all of them'.......LOL!!!!! THAT was a true statement!
Can't wait to see you folks next year--if I hafta wait that long!!!! LOL!!!! Hope you tour for many years to come! Definitely worth the 2 hour or so drive up from Erie, Pa!!!
We got our tix over 3 months ago, and couldn't wait for the show!!!!
Thanks again so much for a 5 star time, before and during the show!!!!
Setlist-as printed to follow! My apologies in advance if any differences from printed sheet!

Hello fellow real music enthusiasts: I was standing about 20 feet from the center of the stage at the Rapids Theater in NY last evening and the show was fantastic and just amazing. Hey all of you "Easy Meats" if you have no interest in listening to bueatiful music that is pouring out of this talent that was on stage please go stand at the back of the room near the restrooms and "shoot your breeze at each other". Everyone else came to hear Franks music live and breath, it's funny just as I was being somewhat troubled by these two yapping birds in front of my friend and me. Mr. Zappa and his band verbally act out the sounds of being at a bar and they all start babbling, brillant, funny and very timely. Now back to the good stuff: What a great show I just love how they band has grown and developed and this is my personal favorite line-up. Ben is great to watch and nice to see him play the trumpet and harmonic thru a small bull horn, excellent. My favorite of the night and first time hearing was "Blessed Relief" was a bueaty, House I Used to Live In, Pick Me I'm Clean, City of Tiny Lights, Daddy, Daddy, Florentine Pogen, etc, etc. Thank you so very much for making me smile until my face just about cracks! Also thank you Dwezzil for sticking around after and signing everything for everyone, very cool. I hope to see ZPZ many, many more times. I also hope this line-up starts to bring some of there own creations to the stage and if they don't feel the need so be it, it's all great!

Peace and "Keep It Greasy":

Smarty

god hopefully it wasnt me and my buddy... lol he just arrived from virginia and i hadnt seen him in months. but we pretty much were singing.... not bullshit ranting as you say!!! but if u said birds, im thinkin 2 ladies yapping about being a soccer mom... you got a description...did u see the guy with the squirrel tails on his head... freak dancin.... i was hanging near the left side of the stage and that dude almost knocked my beer out of my hand!!! then some old dude almost broke his hip but i caught him b4 he fell into the handicapable zone!!!

great show... but the soundman prolly should get a hearing aid, cuz was at about 80% on vocals half the time, the bass was rumbling the floor and from my side of stage u could barely hear the 2nd guitarist over the bass. i like the boom of the bass and drums no doubt about it, but god, at least get it so the vocals can be heard over the rest of the band!!! regardless, i had an excellent time seeing zpz, we got like 30 free tix from the radio station and took half my neighborhood!!! i knew all the jams they played so it wasnt like i was in the dark..... easy meat, Daddy, Daddy, for sure.... wished for a crewslut!! but settled for a stellar set of songs. when you are that great, u dont do requests unless you run out of material.....

i still give it a 4 0f 5

Thank you for the killer show at the Rapids! Excellent selection of music. This is the 4th time I witnessed ZPZ and this group of individuals can play their asses off! Yes, I am "that guy" who threw my shirt toward Scheila. I was caught up in the music and it possessed me! Subconsciously, I figure that Dweez and someone in the band (i.e. Scheila) might start the quilt spiel . . . I was mistaken. Great tunes all night and I look forward to listening to this band several more times. Pictures were taken with Dweez and we all appreciate the autographs, and the entire band, as individuals, are flat out, straight up, wonderful down-to-earth human beings who love what they do and I love it too. All the best, Nick, TC, Jeff & Joe

GO SEE THIS BAND !

Accept No Substitutes. This band is the real deal. ZPZ is the best band you EVER heard. These folks know what they are doing. So, I would like to know what they listen to when at home or in the bus? I have witnessed ZPZ four times and all the shows were exceptional. I loved every second of every song and got more than my $$ worth. We are not in it for the money, so keep playing, go to the shows and love the music. Yes, I was "that guy" who threw his shirt on stage--I was caught-up in the music and it possessed me and I had a FREAK OUT moment! Filthy Habits! Let it roll, Nick P.S. Thanks for a great time.

The musicians are all masters at thier craft. Rapidstheater provided a great environment for the bands intimtate presentation of pappa z's material. I know the gig was zappa plays zappa. However, everyone was allowed to shine. I think that is true musicianship. Again, all were great, but the frame were the mallets were let loose was effin mindblowing. Thanx to all who put it together.
