Did you see ZPZ at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Simply put - an unbelievable show. Practically everyone left the place with a look of disbelief in their eyes and a big smile on their face.
Great band that did not only accurately play but also gave some improvised fantastically.

An incomplete, unordered setlist included:
Big Swifty
Florentine Pogen
Peaches En Regalia
Blessed Relief (which according to Dweezil was never played live before)
Keep it Greasey
Cosmeik Debris
I'm the Slime
Black Page
Easy Meat
Pick Me, I'm Clean
City Of Tiny Lites
Apostrophe
Don't Eat the Yellow Snow
The Blue Light
Yo' Mama

Tottaly Agree with the 'shmul' above.

It was a great show, great music and great musicians.
The sound was a bit too loud even for me, but not bad.

(one note - they said there will be 9 person on stage - actuallyu there were 8.. but great)

I've been in the previous evening in the 'initimic' meeting with deezel and was impressed.

Here some links to reviews:

I saw the show last night, it was the most amazing musical performance I've ever seen. Its one day later and im still trying to comprehend what I saw. As a huge Zappa fan im grateful I had the oppertunity to see the band live, as I was 7 in 1993. Thank you for playing in Tel Aviv and I hope you come back. Will there be recordings of this show avaliable on either mp3 or DVD?

Wow!
What an amazing evening, Dweezil and the band gave us 2 hours of happines, joy and laughter.
Perfect Musicians, they all are 'virtuoso', highly proffesionals.

Im 22 years old, Zappa fanatic. In the show i saw people in all ages, from kids to elder 60 Year old Zappateers, i didnt know that so many in my little country admire zappa, good to know.

Thank you Dweezil for making a dream come true, please visit again!

Indeed, my wife and 21 years old son left Hangar11 with a big smile on our faces. The music was fantastic and all was well organized!
Here is one of the pictures I took: The ZPZ band at the end of the concert (of the >8GB captured :-)).
BTW, I found 7 musicians names in ZPZ site (are these accurate?), who is the 8th musician (the 2nd or maybe the 1st keyboard player)?

Dweezil Zappa: Guitar
Scheila Gonzalez: Saxphone, Flute, Keyboards & Vocals
Pete Griffin: Bass
Billy Hulting: Marimba, Mallets & Percussion
Jamie Kime: Guitar
Joe Travers: Drums & Vocals
Ben Thomas: Vocals

I read in this site that Padova, Italy concert on the 15th was canceled. I wonder what was the problem. Some flight being delayed or what? It is quite a compress schedule ZPZ guys keep!
Nobody from this site (Mikey?) seem to answer the guys who travel 500km, all the way from Croatia...

Thanks for the amazing concert in Tel-Aviv, be back soon!
Benny

Being at this concert was a dream come true!
Everyone was in top form, and the band gave a 2:40 hour show.
They did a wonderfully accurate Blessed Relief (one of my favorites), and had great solos on Big Swifty.
DZ, Ben and Scheila and the entire band were great, and it was a great night out.
Even my wife who I dragged along with me (and she only ever listens to Flamenco and Ethiopian music) was transfixed and had a good time, proving, I think, that FZ's music is universal.
Please come again next year and do Zombie Woof, too.
Dr. Itamar Netzer

The show was great!!
I can't thank you enough for coming here and blow us away like you did.... especially for "Blessed Relief" which is a favourite one of mine and had no idea you're going to do it, so THANK YOU FOR THAT, it was AWESOM!!

Now all we can wish for is that you come back again soon........

And if you're planning on special guests from Frank's former band-buddies like Bozzio or Napolion sometime in the future, please let us know!!

Thank you, thank you and thank you again, it was a great show, you moved us and turned us upside down.

With deep respect and love,
Efrat K.

Thank you Dweezil and all you guys in the band!

As I told Dweezil after the show: in 1992 two major things happened in my life. My mother died from cancer and I heard my first zappa record (best band you never heard...) one door got closed in my face and another just opened. The show itself made me remember all those nights of music that helped me continue with my life.

Don’t ever stop playing...

Sincirlly, kfir

A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.
Their domestic had long been the talk of the town. A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage. nike tn
"Well, it dates back to our honeymoon," explained the lady. "We visited the Grand Canyon and took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by pack mule. We hadn't gone too far when my husband's mule stumbled." nike air max
"My husband quietly said 'That's once.' We proceeded a little farther when the mule stumbled again. Once more my husband quietly said, 'That's twice.' We hadn't gone a half-mile when the mule stumbled a third time." nike chaussures
"My husband promptly removed a from his pocket and shot him." nike shoes
"I started to protest over his treatment of the mule when he looked at me and quietly said 'That's once.'"
