Hi there,
what needs to come first is... the set list (Mind the following: "V" indicates tha a FZ Video section was added to the live performance of the ZpZ band):
V Black Napkins
Joe's garage
Gas station
San Berdino
Doreen
Tiny lights
Carolina hardcore ecstasy
V Dumb all over
What's new in Baltimore?
Pygmy twilight ("One more time" Dweezil, that was me who did ask for more there)
Dupree's paradise (including band improvisations and RW: "You never tasted Wildebeest", very nice!)
Uncle Remus
Willie the pimp
V Cosmic Debris
Zoot allures (including e-guitar solo the "yo mama" style by DZ)
Illinois enema bandit
----- Encore:
Dog Meat
G spot tornado
V Muffin man
############
ok: By far better sound than the one I had to eat last year in Berlin. The sound engineer did really his best, as promised (thanks buddy) and it was great!
The highlight was the pygmy twilight

(which was in fact the feeling of the band having 8 concerts in a row, according to DZ).
The downer were the security guys. Hey, they did their job, but too straight! I had the feeling that the ZpZ band was confused, that these poor guy from the security did not let us right to the stage (here is some German for those who have been on duty that night: Keiner wollte
auf die Bühne, aber
vor diese. Wir sind doch alle so alt, da kommt doch eh keiner mehr rauf

)
Pappdieter, I have seen you. Haven't you been the guy with the video booklets which finally were signed by DZ?
To the band: Thanks for playing so nice, giving all your best and for playing "
muffin man". I think I did ask for this after the Berlin show 2006 in this review, but under a different name (lost my login data). Anyway, I had lots of fun.
Finally: here is an important message for Mr. D. Zappa and all of the crew: Thanks for playing in Erfurt. Please come back (and get to the smaller but nicer location "Das Gewerkschaftshaus", where many famous bands played along (Colosseum, ... ). We love you and don't take it wrong that this concert was not completely sold out.
Thanks!
