Did you attend this show at Peer Gynt in Bergen?

Dweezil and the band would love to read your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Thank you for a great performance last night. I was really blown away. Ray White singing the enema bandit was GREAT!!!

Hope to see you next year.

Because I had to play a show of my own I had to leave the concert after Pygmy Twylyte. Could anyone tell me which songs they played after this?

Here's some feedback from Norway:

They played this in Bergen:

Black Napkins - with FZ on video playing the guitar solo
Dirty Love - Scheila on vocal
I'm Not Satisfied - Ray W enter the stage
Lonely little girl (a great version of this one)
My guitar want's to kill your mama
Echidna's ARF
Montana - with FZ on video
Carolina Hardcore extasy - Very funny song, and they played it :D
Tiny Lights - Great vocals by Ray W
Dog breath / Uncle meat - One of my highlights. They are sooo good!!
G-Spot - Unbeliveble
Dupree's Paradise - About 25 min long version, with a lot of impovisasion. Fantastic!!!! :D
Uncle Remus
Willie The Pimp
Cosmik Debris - with FZ on video playing the funnyes guitar solo ever!! :D
Illinois Enema Bandis - The band played this so well, i cant wait to see and hear it tonight in Oslo!

Encore:
Pigmy Twylite
Joe's Garage - !!!! :D
Muffin Man - The same great last song as in Stavanger. With FZ on video playing the guitar solo. Perfect ending!! :D

I think they changed 6 songs and 2 videos compearing to the show in Stavanger.
Can't wait to the tonight show in Oslo!!!

I am sure I was not the only one who attended both shows but both were excellent. And Dweezil made sure to change a lot of the songs. It was fun to experience more new songs like Brown Shoes & America Goes Home in Stavanger, but Bergen had more of the killer songs like Dirty Love, Montana and Carolina Hardcore Extacy. My personal favorite was Pygme Twilight (played on both shows). Killer version....

One of the highlites for me personally is too hear how Dweezil is growing as a guitar player. He has always had good chops playing mostly in the melodic metal style with lots of tapping and generally sounding pretty much like any other Van Halen clone. He has really dedicated himself to master both playing the "impossible" guitar parts and beeing able to play solos that would do the songs justice. If Dweezil had played solos on these same song .. say 4-5 years ago they would not sound anything like they do now. You might say that he is "copying" his dad's uniqe style but too me (playing a little myself) he definetly has found his own "tone" and personality. The solos this time around is better than last tour and more in-tune with the songs and he seems more relaxed and comfortable playing. Another thing I noticed is how he has improved the sound. New amps and effects. I must say it's a delight hearing the powerful sound that he now has created (I am guessing he must have worked a lot on that during the "off-season"). Of couse he still has a long way too come anywhere close too his dad... but he is still young... maybe after a couple more tours we can look forward too a "Return of the Son of Shut Up And Play Yer Guitar" album ! :D

Ciao

Well, there is not so much revolutionary with the "Taco Part",its been done as a part of Dupree's Paradise on a lot of gigs, for instance it been called "Don't Let The Racoon Scratch Your Face".

I guess you're talking about the recording already uploaded on Dime arn't you?

No.

Unødvendig å spre en ny source siden den andre allerede blir spredt via Dime da. Tilbud trukket tilbake. Sorry
