Did you attend this show at Olympen in Lund?

Dweezil and the band would love to read your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Lund is a classic consertarena for Zappa. Cool to see DZ on stage at the same venue as his dad has visist since 67. The show this night was tight and rocking. As ususal the mucicians were great and perform a nice chunky taste of Frank´s realy cool rocking songs. Sheila wipt it out, Joe was exact in his timing and DZ showed how his playing has improved, Ray blow us away. Higlights was Pygmy twylight and Willie the pimp.....outstanding. See you next year. :D

Since I am a real zappafan.
The concert was good.
But sometimes, in the early songs, it was no good sound for mr White.
Pitty!

For me it also seems that it wouldnt harm if you raise the speaker on Dweezil.
Il think we all wanna here whats hes gonna say!

Its a big shame that not any of the newspapers, what I have seen, did wrote about the wisit.
Damn!

I liked the concert alot and Scheila Gonzalez!
Wow, she was great.
Im in love, I´l think.

It was a great concert and as an old fan off both Frank as a composer/guitarrist and Dweezil as a guitarrist, i enjoyed it very much. The band is really something special, I think. You mus be very proud of this remarkable musicians Dweezil?
It was a as told, a grest show, and Olympen is a remembrance arena for Zappafans from southern Sweden. I saw my last Zappaconcert in this place.
I hope to see you again next year in my neighborhood.
Lasse........
PS. Ray "the polarbear" was really something special too, to see after all this years. DS

It was a real amazing experince to hear ZPZ play, Duprees paradise was one of my favourites in the show.

It was an honour to have attended such a fine show.

However, there is one thing I find odd.

I brought my camera with me, a nice professional camera with a fast lens so that I could take photos in low light with out a flash.

The guards refused to letme in with the camera and said that no cameras were allowed in. I had to go back out and leave the camera in the car.

Later when seated, I noticed that there was a sea of small compact cameras and cellphone cameras flashing, and no one approched these to inform them of the no cameras policy.

I'm a photo professional and I take great care to work in availble light conditions with out flash as to not disturb performers, speakers, animals etc etc.
I find it rather odd that someone who knows what they are doing are told to leave the camera outside, while the general public is left alone with their disturbing compacts.

So what is the reasoning behind this rather peculiar policy?
I'm just curious.

other than that, all the best to ZPZ future shows (I'll be urging some friends in Melbourne to se the show when you go to Australia)

Sincerly

Chris
