Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Wow! Saw ZpZ play at DFest Saturday night in Tulsa, OK. right before The Roots performed. They put on an excellent show that melted all the faces in attendance. Must say that I didn't know much about the band, other than name recognition, prior to the show. But now I am a fan for sure. Also, I think the Roots could learn a thing or two about professionalism from these guys. After ZpZ gave an incredible performance that lasted nearly 2 hours, the Roots were disappointingly 45 minutes late to play. Really pisses me off, as I could have been at a different stage enjoying other acts instead of waiting for them! Oh well, again great performance by ZpZ and overall an excellent festival in Tulsa!

The show was amazing(as usual). Took an 18 and 19 year old with us. My son has listened his whole life, but live is so much better. They were both dazzled and speachless. Dweezil's guitaring continues to get better. I hear mumblings of "better than Frank" every show I go to. Hard words to say, but he is truly phenomenal. We have driven to Tulsa, St.louis, Vegas, kansas city, Austin and have seen a show in our hometown Dallas. If your considering a drive to see ZPZ, get yer gas and go... This might be "the best band you never heard of"..... DZ on King Kong blew the crowd away....

Thanks to the band for the gift. Pete had an amazing solo, Sheila was amazing(someday she will go home with us), Jaime, Billy, Joe, all phenomenal. What can you say about Ray that has not been said. He was amazing. The only negative was all the ROOTS fans. I understand the fanatisizm, The zappa fans have had that for 40 years... Rude bastards..

Hello. Made the drive to Tulsa from Little Rock to see the show. Incredible!I became a Zappa fan when I saw the band in Columbus, Ohio in 1988 for the Broadway the Hardway Tour. I still have the program. Hard to believe that was twenty years ago! This music will be enjoyed by generations to come. Dweezil made a comment on all the young people in the crowd. Thanks to Dweezil and the Band for such an awesome show. I hope to see it again next Summer! Best concert I've seen in a very long time! ('88) Keep on touring!

ZPZ ROCKED! Took my 15 y/o daughter and was here 1st time to see bands live. She went to see some of the newer music bands like Paramore and Phantom Planet like most kids her age. She and I loved ZPZ the best by far!!! She could not believe how great Zappa's music is! Frank's music will be rockin the planet forever!!! PLEASE COME BACK TO DFEST NEXT YEAR!!!!!!

Dear fatheroblivion, im not going to sit here and bash you about the comment you made about the recent ZPZ dfest show "mumblings of better than Frank" i do however agree that he hits some notes that ONLY a FRANK ZAPPA solo would be able to send chills through you're body !

you and i both know that Dweez is not out there to be like Frank but only to get the music out there to the lets say the" younger folk"

we both love what Dweez is doing though and im glad you made it to the show : )

if'n you have the chance to see another ZPZ i highly suggest even driving to texas and or kansas and or flying to that certain spot, maybe a G-spot and take the Tornado w/ you

it really sucked that the promoters didn't have ZPZ as the headliner instead of that bullshit band "The Poots" (my opinion only)

if you're in tulsa did you attend the FZ "Brady Theater" shows on 10-18-80 and 10-14-81 ? (you do know that "Hog Heaven" was recorded that night of the 18th don't you ?

be good to yourself and GO to the next ZPZ show !

peace, love and good happiness stuff to you !

kanerps :)
