The first comment was to see if this works.

I was at the concert last night with my son(17) my brother and his son(16). We had a great time . The unanimous vote was that it was the best rock concert we've ever been to. It was so refreshing to see Dweezil and the band of HAPPY musicians. They loved what they played and conveyed that to all. Frank was so ahead of his time and his music is in a class by itself. Many have tried to be that original and none have succeeded until now. Dweezil and the band played and improved on perfection. We stayed after to get ticket stubs and tee-shirts signed and Dweezil was a gracious host. Thanks for a wonderful night. Please come back next year, we'll be there and bring our friends. LisaC

I attended the show on Saturday with my ex-husband/good friend. We had seen Frank perform on 3 different occasions, but I must say, Dweezil (and company) really brought his music to an even higher dimension! The show was wonderful. We were standing right in front of Scheila Gonzalez and Ray White, and we were really drawn into the whole show. All of them were top musicians and put their hearts/souls into the performance. Frank would be very proud! What a wonderful show! I look forward to seeing you in Vermont next year! Thanks!

Once again, COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!!! Fourth show in 2 years. Best thing (besides FLAWLESS musicianship ) was the always different set list. Frank always did the same . Saw Frank 14 times. No lie. Will see ZPZ as many or more times if able. Personal faves for Higher Ground---first three songs (Treacherous, City, SHARLEENA !!! ) Every player was fabulous . I,m a guitar nut ( SURPRISE !! ) and this show was an A+ See you at the EGG.

One of the best shows I've seen in my life and I've seen 100's of shows! Dweezil is an amazing guitar player. Frank would be proud. The whole band was equally talented!
Some of the highlights for me were Uncle Remus, Cheepnis, Joe's Garage and Yellow Snow. I would never pass up seeing this band again. They were AWESOME!!! :P

After traveling 3.5 hours from Brownfield Maine in the pouring rain I just want to say that this is one of, if not the best show I've ever been to. It sure was worth the trip. The venue was great since it was General admission as well. Its nice to be able to get right up front as I did. I was right at the stage in front of DZ and Ray White. How awesome is that!!! Last year at the Casino Ballroom I wasn't able to get very close because of assigned seating. This was way better. The band was even better this year than last if you can believe thats possible. I hope that ZPZ will tour for many years to come. I will give it my best shot to see them every year. Thanks :)

the grueling 7 hr drive from Mount Desert Island, Maine with my son and his friend was well worth it! We were right up front just to the right of DZ. I was able to see everyone perform with the exception of Aaron. However Aaron was quite hilarious during "Flakes." Anyone notice him singing to the rear of the stage with a book over his head? Very funny. Joe suffered numerous mic stand failures throughout the show which caused him to visibly irritated.

The highlights of the show were DZ's amazing solos (from 5 feet away)!
He was replicating the tones of the pieces from the first notes of "Treacherous Cretins" through the final encore, "Willie the pimp." I really enjoyed Jamie's great guitar work throughout the show, especially the slide on "Bamboozled by Love." Billy Hulting's percussion playing is nothing short of amazing! Pete's bass playing absolutely fantastic. Very nice guy too. Got to talk with him for a few after the show. Scheila great sax solos!!!! And last but not least, the dynamic vocalist, Ray White. WOW! Once again just amazing.

I thoroughly enjoyed Zappa plays Zappa in a small venue context. I'm so glad I purchased ear plugs for us before the show because there was no way you could stand in front of DZ's three amps blasting away. It was great!!! I admit I took the ear plugs out occasionally to get the full sound of certain songs or parts.

After the show, Dweezil was so friendly and willing to stay and sign autographs for about an hour. While waiting for DZ to sign my "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" tshirt I blurted out "FUCK ANDRE!" there was a response from DZ but I shall not post it. I thanked DZ for ZPZ and that I agree with him in his (ZFT) copyright issues and so forth. I told him he is doing the right thing and keep up the good work. He thanked me.

ZPZ should play at the STATE THEATER in Portland, Maine!!! ANYONE?? Anyone???

In closing, you've heard from Roncosaurus first, "FUCK ANDRE!" and the FUCK ANDRE campaign has begun. Don't forget to call before midnight tonight. Tell em what they win Bob! ...Ronco's new bondage in a bottle...and yes...and also a new car!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Roncosaurus its funny how we were all standing in the same area in front of the stage. I was one person down from your son at the front, I think. It sure was loud being right in front of the TDS-100's (Fuchs Amps) they wail. I didn't bring ear plugs and my ears took a beating but it was worth it. Do you remember the exact playlist? I should have grabbed a copy but I was more inteseted in talking to the band members whom I think were great to talk to. What a great musicians. I am still in awe of the show....
The friend that was with me is traveling to Peekskill NY for the Saturday night show. Lucky him. I guess I have to stay home and Cut the Grass.....

Treacherous Cretins
City of Tiny Lights
Sharleena (original version)
Cheepnis
Don't Eat the Yellow Snow
St. Alphonzo's Pancake Breakfast
Father O'Blivion
Uncle Remus
Pygmy Twylyte (Quallude Thunder version)
Peaches En Regalia
Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up
Joe's Garage
Fembot in a Wet T-Shirt
Outside Now
He Used To Cut the Grass
Flakes
Broken Hearts are for Assholes
Bamboozled By Love
King Kong
encores:
I'm the Slime
Willie the Pimp

one disadvantage of being so close to the front is that I was able to read the set list but....the trade off was worth it.

oh....and don't forget .... "FUCK ANDRE!"

Roncosaurus

I brought my son to this show. The venue wasn't great but the band was smoking. Great to see Ray White again.
The people near the bar needed to quiet a bit, they made an otherwise great show a bit of a drag !
