Did you attend the ZPZ show at the Triple Door in Seattle, WA?

Dweezil and the band love reading your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Thanks to each and all of you and to all the crews that make such a show possible.
We escaped without herpes, drove back to Bellingham this morning eager to watch our new zplaysz merch, saw two big old bald eagles on the way up and did not transmit anything to them we believe.
We have a venue called the Mount Baker Theater which might suit you like a gorrilla suit in a g-spot tornado...think about it for next year please...it's on the way to Vancouver B.C. and certainly contains more old and young rockers and jazzmen per acre than Seattle.
Bellingham, the city of subdued excitement, sports great food, a university, a beautiful saltwater bay with islands, and is an hour away from Mt Baker.
The show was tight as a pogen's daughter, the songs you selected were perfect for the evening and your talents really ramp up those great old compositions. We loved your poise, your warmth and your tasty and orignal leads.
Thanks a bunch,
Beth and Paul Schramer

Seeing ZPZ for the 3rd time, I am so grateful for the musical service you are all providing. I was at stage front and loved every aspect of the show. I did, however, make a comment after a song that may have offended Pete. In an effort to not scream out the usual comments, I shouted,"NIce Effort!" Then I remembered that's what my 3rd grade teacher said when my Mothers Day portrait looked more like a black cat run over in our driveway. I hope I have not inflicted and emotional scars, and, you are all nice boys, so please stop by some time and mow my lawn.

Had the good fortune of being seated at the table right next to the sound board, so I was lucky enough to be given a set list after the show. Many thanks, this one really reminded me of what FZ used to do, a real show, entertainment not just tune after tune. Thanks to the band, sound and road crew, I know (saw the bruises from packing in that 600 lb sound board) how much work it is. Here is the list verbatum
ANDY*
MAGIC FINGERS*
PYGMY TWYLYTE QT
EAT THAT QUESTION
DOG BREATH
BILLY THE MOUNTAIN*
guitar giveaway
JOES GARAGE
FEMBOT IN A WET T-SHIRT
POUND FOR BROWN- BAND SOLOS
FLAKES
BROKEN HEARTS
BAMBOOZLED (hard ending - gtr change)
INCA ROADS*
PEACHES EN REGALIA*
MUFFIN MAN* - END OF SHOW
ENCORE:
COSMIC DEBRIS
I'M THE SLIME

This was my third time experiencing ZPZ. They only get better. What a wonderful group of musicians. Thanks to all of you for the work you have put into learning this most complex music. I especially appreciatred them playing Dog Braath. Two years ago as my best friend lay in a near comatose state dying of cancer I played a Zappa mix CD for him. When Dog Breath came on his lips started moving and he was singing along. When that happened I knew my friend wsa still in there. That is the power of Frank's music. Thanks again to Dweezil and the band for an unforgettable experience. By the way, somehow Sheila is even better looking than ever. What a wonderful, comedic turn as Mary in Fembot.

Was an amazing show and had an amazing evening.

Setlist was great and the band was awesome.

Also did the VIP experience. Was well worth it.

For the soundcheck they did

Peaches
Fembot / Pound Transition
Zomby Woof

They also did one or two other songs I cant recall - anyone else who was at the soundcheck please post.

Dweezil said they may be back in the fall - will definately do VIP again if offered....and this time both shows.

finally think Dweezil must have the best job in the world - how many people wouldnt like for their job to be reminding the world what a great person and genius their Dad was.

Dave

just a short note....my above post (2nd from top) incorrectly listed Black Napkins as played. they do not play it this night.

other than that, I just want to reiterate to Dweezil and the entire band the amount of gratitude I have for their efforts to share Frank's music with so many people like me who never got to see Frank. I still feel a great amount of happiness whenever I think about the 2 Seattle shows at the Paramount, 10/30 Blender in NYC or 1/3/09 Triple Door in Seattle. Thinking of those shows warms my heart and makes me so happy. Dweezil, I appreciate all your efforts with the hard touring schedule since you have a family. And the releasing of the live performance is just truly incredible. Please take your time with this as best as able, and hopefully you will get in plenty of family time to recharge your batteries before you start touring again in 2009. I know your Dad couldn't be more proud of you, and I truly have a ton of love and appreciation for everything that you do, sing or play on guitar.

i realize this is not a new show review, but just had to take a moment out of my busy day to say that i love and appreicate what you are doing. your band is awesome and they deserve much kudos as well.

Respectfully,
Eric

This was a spectacular show. I was fortunate enough to be sitting front and center at the stage and experienced the show up close and personal. I was the guy who shouted "More Herpes!" as the band returned for the encore. Many of my personal fave tunes were played including Andy, Bamboozled, Inca Roads, Joe's Garage and Muffin Man. Pygmy Twylyte was great but too short! The band was super tight, everyone played their asses off and it was great to see the inimitable Ray White on vocals. Everyone band member was polished and seemed to be having a real fun time.
Dweezil, Frank would be so proud to know his music was being performed so well and appreciated by so many, still so many years after which it was first created. I am honored to say I saw Frank perform a few times back in the day, and you've done him proud. I can't wait to see the band again so please come back to Seattle soon where I know you always enjoy playing. BTW, I took a load of great pictures at the show in case you're interested in any. Thanks for signing some stuff for me after the show.
See yez,
Rob

Hello!
You may probably be very curious to know how one can manage to receive high yields on investments.
There is no initial capital needed.
You may commense to get income with a money that usually goes
for daily food, that's 20-100 dollars.
I have been participating in one project for several years,
and I'll be glad to let you know my secrets at my blog.

Please visit my pages and send me private message to get the info.

P.S. I make 1000-2000 per daily now.

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a thing, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my web site to get additional info.

Good day, sun shines!
There have were times of troubles when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright stupid person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in big starting capital.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I begin take up real money.
It gets down to choose a proper partner who uses your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, and shares the profit with me.

You can get interested, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:

A man goes to church and starts talking to God. He says: "God, what is a million dollars to you?" and God says: "A penny", then the man says: "God, what is a million years to you?" and God says: "a second", then the man says: "God, can I have a penny?" and God says "In a second" nike air max tn
