Awesome show!.....Dweezil & Co. were in fine form. I saw the show twice last year (Toronto & Minneapolis) and I can say that tonights show had tons of new songs in the set list. Here's a partial list of the new songs...I can't remeber it all right now.

Uncle Remus
My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama
Suzy Creamcheese
Dumb All Over
Advance Romance
Carolina Hardcore Ecstasy
Illinois Enema Bandit
Muffin Man
Willie The Pimp
San Berdino
Joe's Garage
Wind Up Workin in a Gas Station
Yo Mama
City of Tiny Lights
What's New in Baltimore
Brown Shoes Don't Make It
G-Spot Tornado (This was the last song!)

of course there were some others as well, again I can't remember it all....

Echidnas Arf
Duprees Paradise
Comsmik Debris
Pygmy Twilight
Cheepnis
Black Napkins
Montana

Ray White was amazing on vocals and there was lots of video footage with Frank's soloing being super-imposed over the live band....great stuff.
The only dissapointment was that the new DVD from last years tour was NOT available yet.......surprise, surprise.

+1 to what Jon said. It was an amazing show. Dweezil mentioned that this concert was the first time that Uncle Remus had been played live by one of Zappa's bands.

Again, great concert. I highly recommend!!

Sweeeeetness.

Dumb all Over was a natural given Ray White and our current state of affairs.

Uncle Remus? Awesome.

Yo Mama? Baltimore? G-Spot Tornado? Dupree's?.

Not to mention I can't wait to see what Ray does with Cheepnis!

Excuse me while I go masterbate.

Oops, posted before Jon mentioned Echidna's (which I thought they would keep for sure) and Willie the Pimp. OK, got to go wash my hands.

A fantastic show. Anyone who loves Zappa should see this. Amazing job.
Tight arrangements and spot on playing. I'd see it again in a second. Five Stars.

Holy Mackerel,

That was a great show. It is good that D.Z. does not try to imitate Frank's guitar playing, he has his own style and he is very wicked, as evidenced by the transcription of G Spot Tornado. That was very interesting to see.

To add to the set list, Ray White did a little improv thing about Dinah Moe Humm, " she bet a 40 dollar bill that she couldn't make me come...to church with her" The Church of Dynah Moe. Some guy yells out "freebird".

Ray White is awesome. Pipes of steel. The Illinois Freakin' Enema Bandit!

I would like to strongly suggest that DOREEN be performed every time Ray White is on stage. I was waiting for that one.

Glad to hear that the show, band and tracklist were OK.
What kind of merchandise are they selling?
How was the lightshow? Previous tour was done by some Belgian guys, this tour they received no offer, spoke to one of them last month.

(see you later for at least 3 EURO'SHOWS)

Yeah,

Jon Matthews has almost all the songs, the only ones missed were:

America Drinks and Goes Home
Wild Love

Band incredibly tight, the Dweez very relaxed and clearly comfortable in doing the music. Plenty of eyebrows. Ray's voice still incredible. "Enema Bandit" one of many huge highlights on the night. When "Brown Shoes" came on (as the middle of of the three song suite that closes out the Absolutely Free album), one could almost feel the collective gasp from the audience that the band was going to do this number (which Dweez preceded with a comment about "trying" the number, "which is a bit tricky...").

Slightly mixed feelings on the screen projections of FZ; slightly anticlimactic in some instances, but was indeed fantastic for "Dumb All Over."

As far as merchandise, a great selection of t-shirts (and one choice of hoody) available, for adults and kids. "Apostrophe/Over-nite Sensation" classic albums DVD was there, along with a few CDs as well. Everything reasonably priced. Merch counter a very busy place prior to concert. The light show was fairly minimal, but that was just fine, 'cause the true fireworks are in the music.

This is a great extension of the project/object that the Dweez is presenting us. Any potential let down for not having Brock/Bozzio/Vai there was eradicated immediately with Echinda's Arf (the opening song). And Ray's voice! Oh mmmmmyyy!

Go out there and enjoy it, boys and girls.

A level of musicianship I won't be seeing again anytime soon. Absolutely stunning. Ray has got a helluva set of pipes... wow  They sold out of t-shirts at the end of the show. Hopefully some of the merch will be available through the website at some point. Caught myself a Pete Griffin pick :)
