Did you attend this show at Hampton Beach Casino?

Dweezil and the band would love to read your reviews!

Kudos to Dweezil and the whole band for another outstanding show (my 5th), despite the sweltering heat! Highlights for me: Dweezil's playing and Bantor throughout (you seem to have become much more comfortable with the audience interaction over the last year), The Carolina HCE / Advance Romance combo was outstanding, as was Ray's "Greasy Children" medleyand Illinois Enema Bandit. What a set of pipes! Sheila, you were brilliant (as always) but those 2 saxes at once during Duprees??!! Oh My! Making Ray laugh with your BG vocals was also pretty entertaining, as was Pete's "#1 big hand" bass playing and his final "Mama" vocal representation...
The whole band was amazing... the way you guys switch the vocals around and involve everyone keeps us looking all over the stage.much
Please put Denver back on the next tour... See you all in Berkeley!... and, by the way...THANKS!!!!
"Rough" set list from memory( may be out of order and missing sumpthin'):
Son of Suzy Creamcheese
Brown Shoes Don't Make It
America Drinks & Goes Home
City of Tiny Lights (enter Ray White)
Montana
Carolina Hardcore Ecstacy
Advance Romance
Pygmy Twylyte
Dumb All Over
What's New in Baltimore
Dupree's Paradise
Uncle Remus
Willie the Pimp
Joe's Garage (for the guy blasting it from his car on the strip)
Wind up Working in a Gas Station>
San Berdino
Illinois Enema Bandit
Wild Love
Yo Mama
encore:
Cosmik Debris
G-Spot Tornado
Muffin Man

Great show. Very unusual venue. I've heard a lot of negative things about this place over the years, but it made for a unique experience. I felt like I was at a bingo hall in hell. (And who was that cocktail waitress??)
It seemed to take the crowd a couple of tunes to get into it, but then it was game on. Especially when Ray came on. Montana,Dumb All Over, Willie, JG,enema,Wild Love/Yo Mama, Cosmik,Muffin. Some crazy shite. Don't miss this band. Oh yeah that "Greasy Children" improv was off the hook!

This is my 3rd show since last year and will be in Boston sat. for a 4th. Franks music means so much to me, and DZ/band has done an incredible job Handling something that I take very personally. THANK YOU

It does seem that DZ is more comfortalble with the Banter/improv from last year, and that is nice. I know Franks music front and back so it is nice to be suprised musically.

I can't believe how great the band has become since Indy. I saw Chicago, Indy, & now Hampton on this tour. DZ is becoming much more comfortable with the response from the crowd. He is moving around on stage more I guess he seems more attached to the music & the crowd. Making it his own & becoming “Zappa” Truthfully he has to be one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He really cares & is very committed. His love for the music & keeping the tonal qualities of the music is so very obvious. He signed my program & setlist with kindness & patience. DZ we support you & hope for many years of great shows. The Hampton ballroom was near 100 degrees for the whole show. Massively hot & moist makes for hard guitar playing let alone the material he is playing, I think it is almost a magic trick to get it done. We didn’t get at this show Dirty Love, Black Napkins, Arf, Cheepins, My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama, which were played earlier in the tour. The time was still three hours, which means they are jamming more & having more time with the crowd & getting off on the live feel. DZ & Ray had more time together playing leads back & forth, DZ walking over to Ray, Ray put on a hat during Willy the Pimp & acted out the pimp part. You can see they are coming together as a living band and not sterile dry players hired to play their part. Taking ownership over the material is key to the jam & they have. I get off on muffin man, what can I say- the guitar sound is so tough & then when you think your impressed with DZ, Frank comes on the screen & kicks our ass with his lead & teaches us all how big his balls still are! I love watching DZ’s response to playing with frank. Watching him get off on his father & his smile really gets to me each time. I can’t help but feel the love. Well I need to go down to my basement & try some of the things I learned last night. This has to be the most inspired I have been in a long time. Rock & Roll lives & DZ holds the torch for us. Next time play more then one show in each large city. Also, I wouldn’t mine DZ playing one of his songs.

I have to admit, I was feeling like last year could not be topped with having Steve Vai and NMB with the band but I was mistaken. This year was better than last...Went to the Providence show last fall and while it was, in my opinion, a better venue for the audience (and probably the band) last night, despite the heavy, hot air and dis-placed video screen, this show was amazing.

Ray White sounds incedible, the musicianship all around is exceptional, Scheila is beautiful and the presentation (including video screen and humor) is perfect. This was my 12 year old son's first concert and thanks to Dweezil for giving him a night to remember topping it off with an autograph. It was worth squeezing through all the inebreited, sweaty, loud men to get his ticket signed!

Dweezil-PLEASE continue this for years to come and next time bring Ike Willis! THANK YOU!!

It was really nice to see so many Zappa freaks last night, and all I can say is WOW what a show! Frank's music means so much to me and to hear it played live again was quite a thrill - I still have goosebumps!
I had a grin on my face from start to finish. The band was so fun to watch and the muscianship was top notch, it is very obvious they enjoy playing
together. Dweezil, keep this thing alive, please, and come back next year.
I was in awe during Carolina/Advance(a couple of my all time favorites)
and to hear Wild Love/Yo' Mama was incredible. Great choice of songs,
I couldn't have come up with request list that topped that if I had to.
It was really cool to have Ray come outside after the show, bum a smoke
and shoot the breeze with us. Cool guy. Thanks to all of you, keep up
the great work!

When the musical peak of a concert happens to be the very first song, and continues peaking for the next 3 hours, that's some good shit right there.

Frank was the star last nite, and the band channeled him. And there was Frank. Up on the screen, playing with the band. Singing the lead. Part sentimental, part technical, and just plain cool as can be.

What more can be said that hasn't been commented on already here. I believe the breakdown in Dupree's was the mid section of Drowning Witch.

Those of you who are thinking about passing on this, this band is as hot as it gets. They are so close to the real thing. They are the reason you should go, don't let this opportunity pass you by. And Ray White's presence is amazing!

Thanks DZ & Co!

WOW !!! july 31st was a nice day for a Zappa show.

That was an incredible great show played by super good musicians. Same former band than last Montreal show on october 24th. The sound was enough good for all over night even if Dweezil's voice was a little bit lower than instruments. As is famous dady, Dweezil is also a guitar virtuoso.

The old partner of FZ, Ray White, still have a very great and powerfull voice. Dweezil had a genius idea by mixing Frank's voice and/or video track with some video and playing all together with the band on stage...They can do that on stage forever now. An unforgettable tribute to Frank's memory and fans.

Thanks to the Zappa family trust, and staff, for all organisation of Frank's tour and special memory effects. Hope to see them again, back in Montreal.

Michel Deschênes

The Hampton show was amazing! Last year at the Orpheum included more of my favorite all time songs but I loved this show just as much.
Everything was incredible!
Watching the band rehearse I'm the slime, Florentine Pogen & Wild Love during the day through the VIP tickets was fantastic too.
Don't miss this tour!
Thank you Dweezil & all of ZPZ!!
Please keep touring!

It was much better than Cats...I will see them again and again...

I just got my tickets for the Boston show (ok so I waited till the last minute ... again) and learned that there are lots of tickets left ... everyone ought to get a stranger to experience the show ... spread the word and help the Boston show fill up .. the show at the Orpheum Theater last year was magnificent ... can't wait ... counting down the hours now.

I too got tickets last nite for the Boston show, and I was surprised to get front rown section A tickets? Either they are going to be crappy seats or I totally lucked out, but one thing is for sure, this band totally rocks and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Dweezil & co I'm the one who's with the woman wearing the Suzy Creamcheese shirt right in the front row, the one with the ecstatic gleam in his eyes loving every minute of the show. Thanks ahead of time I am so excited.

Just wanted to say that I attended the show in Hampton on Thursday. This was such an awesome show that I still can't believe I was there. DZ, I've been a FZ ATM fan since back in the late 70's and the first song I heard was Suzy Cream Cheese. That was a great song to start with, at least for me. I've been listening to FZ for most of my life and this tour is the best I could have hoped for.

Thanks for signing my tickets and my friends Montana License. He said he was the only one from Montana at the show but who knows. We are going to take a picture of it. Let me know if you want a copy. Also, I have been going to a lot of Mule shows over the past few years and you can always download the show in MP3 or FLAC (for a fee of course) a couple days after. This would be great to be able to listen to the show you were at. Is this already available? You could call it ZPZ tracks or something. Just a thought.

Thanks Again for the great show. I will make it a point to see the next show that comes to the New England Area.

Before I forget, I wanted to add that I wrote "The Mud Shark" in the sand of Hampton Beach before the show. I wish I took a picture of it.

Dweezil Melted my Face!!!!!
Excellent experience guys,Thank you so much
You are amazing musicians.
By the way I think that a Dweezil Melted My Face T-Shirt would sell tons
I think I will make my own. Is that OK with the Dweez?
I never had the oppertunity to see your Dad so thanks again.
I hope you keep touring forever.
After the show I said to my wife that I now need to decide either to practice a lot more or just give up and sell my guitars.
You made it look so easy it was nuts.
Your solos were incredible.Totally smooth man, I mean SMYOOOOOOOOUTH Dude,,Very impressive.
I will never miss a show if you come north again
I cant wait to buy the DVD.
How do I find a ZPZ Tshirt?
I was short on cash at the show
