Did you attend this show at 013 in Tilburg?

Dweezil and the band would love to read your reviews.

Please do not post in this thread if you did not attend the show.

Great show, especially synchronized video performance of Frank with the band and Ray White's love of the Swedes and Enema Bandids...

See you next year!

Awsome, had a great time. Superb band and some of Frank's best songs.
Special thanks to Ray for his performance.
However I really missed a stage animal like Napoleon Murphy Brock.

If this is going to be annual, I will try to be there untill it is physical impossible for me to go anymore :D

What a fantastic show guys! Dweezil, your solo in City Of Tiny Light was mindblowing! Thanx for G-Spot Tornado, that must be a hard one to learn

But there were so many highlights! From the improv. to Muffin Man. It was one great ride.... Dupree's Paradise was very funny with all the bandmembers improv. What happend with Zoot Allures! I had the feeling that is was shortened!

I'm gonna get ready to go to Amsterdam where I'm going to try to get close to the stage. I hope you guys will change the setlist a little bit!

See you tonite!

Not mentioned in my previous report, but there was a 'Ship ahoy' thing somewhere in the show.

I never had the opportunity to see Frank perform live, last time he was in the netherlands i couldn't make it, and i thought. ah well i'll see him next time. And then he went and died on us.
But now last night i feel i finally saw him live. In spirit this was Frank Zappa live.
This is a band that doesn't simply play the music they learned. But they play the music like it should be played. With conviction, creativity, improv, joy. I think Frank couldn't have wished for more.

 Last night was (almost) better than SEX !!!
Last year was unforgettable so I expected this year to be less overwelming.
Yep . I was WRONG, again...
Frank was an absolut musical GENIUS !
Dweezil is also amazing !!! His solo's .. The band is f*cking unbelievable
And as one of the few chicks there.... Pete & dweezil are seriously delicious eye-candy.
Hope to hear you next year !!!!
xxx

Question: why are there so few girl fans ?

(I became a huge fan at 15 and Frank died when I was 19. So I never heared him Live . 2 years later my dad died also from cancer. After that I couldn't listen to the Zappa music for years .Too painfull.
UNTILL... I knew Dweezil was coming to Holland with the ZPZ tour.
Bought the VIP tickets for the first performance in A'dam. But I didn't expect it to be great...ThankFrank I was wrong...
It was mindblowing, fantastic and everything more that's great!!!)

Great gig. No.. GREAT gig. Better than the first tour with Vai and Bozzio. Intimate and a real good vibe. A review of the event can be found at my site headmusic.web-log.nl (in Dutch). See you next year (please!!!)

PS I miss America Drinks And Goes Home in the setlist. It was played were it belongs, just after Brown Shoes.
